Great Villa with a few issues
As we previously owned a 4 bed villa with a pool in this area we wanted to return after Covid and decided to rent this property. We thought that the villa was beautiful with pretty gardens and a lovely pool. Inside the villa it was clean, modern and well equipped. We loved the views and quiet location.
We enjoyed staying here however we find there is definite room for improvement on the overall guest experience. We were disappointed for the multiple extra charges for items such as pool towels, children's toys, darts as well as pool heating. We were willing to pay the 30 Euro a day charge for pool heating however on arrival it was unclear if the heating was on and wasn't very effective during our stay. Also there was no option to have the pool heating on for less than our stay of 9 nights. In our experience with our villa the pool cover would be more effective.
Another additional charge was 35 Euro to meet us at the villa after 10.00pm even though there was a key box that is used.
Finally, a few extra comments that need to be addressed is the lack of smoke or carbon monoxide alarms. Also the quality of the bedding and towels was not acceptable as we discovered holes in the towels and stains on the bedding.
We feel for the price point of the villa standards should be higher and slightly disappointed with some of the unnecessary additional charges. That said, this is a stunning property and could be much improved if they make some of these adjustments.
