Two of the three Front Desk staf were very rude to me and I found them very unprofessional. I do not know why I made these two dislike me. The third staff member was very professional and I had no problem working with him. We stayed at many Toyoko Inns and there was only one (not this one) that had breakfast buffet with two lines rather than a single one. This made it much easier and faster. This one was the only one that had an outside storage location to store luggages. You had to open it yourself, secure it yourself and get it yourself. Staff did not do anything. I thought that if I was traveling alone, this would have been a scary situation when you have to go there early morning or late in the day. Had it not been for my experience with staff and the outside storage space, I would not think twice about staying here again.

This hotel is 3 min walk from the JR station east entrance, and walkable to the shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel also offers complimentary breakfast, which is very tasty. Will go back when I revisit Sapporo.

Self check in was very easy, and they gladly held our bags because we were early. Room was a little tight/small, but it was clean. We got a smoking room for some reason, so there was a noticeable (but not too heavy) smell of smoke. They provided a room and clothing spray, which was very thoughtful and we used it often. It's located very close to the train station so it was easy to get around. The free breakfast had a great spread of Japanese foods and some Western foods.

The location is perfect! Room size is good. Breakfast is amazing! I stayed for 3 nights and eberyday was different. They also prepare for guests to have brekky takeaway, very caring.

the hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. it was nice to have a laundry room. The breakfast was okay. The only issue we had was the bed was very hard, it was like sleeping on the floor.

Make sure you don’t get a prison room

Very small rooms. The room I was given had a window looking straight at a wall meaning the room was pitch black in the day. Lifts were dreadful - couldn’t baby the number of guests wanting to use them in the morning/evening. The pleasant staff is all this hotel has going for it
