Beautiful Historic House in Downtown Sarasota, Walk to Downtown and Bay
1920's recently updated downtown 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house walking distance to restaurants, movie theater, lounges and shops in downtown Sarasota and a short drive to either Lido or Siesta Key beach. Brand new kitchen with all new appliances. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the back bedroom has two twin beds with a half bath. The full bath has a shower/bathtub. The back bedroom opens up to the fenced in back porch area with an outdoor table and a Weber bbq grill. There is a separate building to the back of the property that houses a hair salon. The owner, Stephanie, has been there for over 10 years and she has been very helpful with any issues that arise at the house. The area is very quiet and peaceful. There is a TV in the middle and front bedroom, and a main TV over the electric fireplace in the living room. The dining room and living room are combined in one large room with a mid century modern dining room table. There is also a front enclosed sitting area that looks out onto Adams Lane. The floors in the house are mostly the original hard wood, with new vinyl flooring in the kitchen/laundry area and new tile in the full bathroom. There is a stacked washer/dryer in the laundry area adjacent to the kitchen with a laundry sink. There are many original paintings throughout the home. Indigenous restaurant is next door for an easy dining experience. Towles Court is a very quiet neighborhood area, but very close to all the festivities in downtown Sarasota. Towles Court originally was an art community, which still houses many art studios in the neighborhood.
The property has security cameras on the outside of the house. There are absolutely no cameras inside.
Owner purchased the home in 2005 and did a series of upgrades over the years with new paint, refurbished hard wood floors, and other various upgrades while maintaining the 1920s feel to the home.
One pet is permitted under 50lbs and potty trained. There is a $350 pet fee that applies. Your pet will be seen on camera at check-in, so please disclose if you are bringing a pet. If a pet is brought that does not comply with the rules, your party will be denied access unless the pet is boarded elsewhere.
It is advisable to get trip insurance to protect against financial loss within the cancelation period, especially during hurricane season.
What a great historic house! Centrally located in downtown Sarasota, it was easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. It is walkable to Main Street where so many wonderful shops and restaurants are. The kitchen has been renovated and has everything (even though we didn't cook! LOL!). Michael was a great host who responded quickly to everything. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Sarasota.
This was the nicest place we have stayed in Sarasota. It was clean, convenient, decorated well, and very walkable to restaurants, shops and the movie theater.
Great location as you are a short walk to downtown . Quiet location and perfect set up in the home for all guests . Definitely coming back to visit family.
We loved our stay at the Little Perry house. This lovely decorated 3 bedroom house in the charming Mt Laurel neighborhood is a real gem. Full of interesting art work and very good kitchen appliances. The beds are very comfortable. Barh and beach towels are of high quality. The owner has really perfected the art of a comfortable place to stay. In comfortable walking distance of Main street downtown is an added bonus. Communication was also excellent.
This rental unit was awesome! The unit is fully stocked with quality dishes, appliances, bedding, towels, and supplies. The unit has beautiful art on all of the walls. We were a .5 mile walk to downtown Sarasota. The owner was a great communicator during our stay. One of the best rental experience we have had!
This location was perfect for spending time with our older children. We really enjoyed walking to Main Street for shopping and dining. It's also very walkable to the marina for exercise and sunsets. The kitchen is wonderfully updated, and the beds were comfortable.
We loved our stay at the Perry-Little house! It is so cute. The decor is amazing. Cool art everywhere. Cozy and private. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed, and ots of TVs for sports and TV watching. Michael is super nice and very available and accommodating. Located close to downtown Sarasota for fun times:) Would definitely stay again.
