Ocean-View Villa Just Minutes from the Beach – Pure Paradise

Casa Camaleon is a gorgeous new one-story villa in Playas del Coco, with the rare combination of great ocean views and just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants! This 5-bedroom villa can sleep up to 12 people, perfect for family groups with its fantastic location and private pool!

This villa has 5,400 sq feet of living space, is gated and has its own security system. The saltwater pool is 43 x 13 ft, in addition the "beach" section of 13 x 13 ft, as well as a jet pool! The ample outdoor space is perfect for getting some sun, relaxing in the shade and taking in those famous sunsets!

Housekeeping is automatically included at Camaleon, making for a very comfortable and pleasing stay. You can also choose to add-on the optional services of our wonderful Costa Rican chef; bartender/service attendant; and dedicated driver (priced separately). In choosing these options, you will enjoy the benefits of a truly carefree, relaxing, and pampered vacation. Your driver will be at your beck and call to take you on short or longer excursions. Should you decide to not select these “inclusive” options, the Villa is still yours to enjoy with all the support items you will require and our local representative will still be at your service to facilitate your stay in any way you choose!

our multi generational family of 9 stayed here for 4 nights, Maria was wonderful, made us breakfast several days. The groundskeeper Bismark was up early each day tending to the pool and the lovely grounds. The kids loved playing in the pool, Bismark brought over several float items for the pool which everyone enjoyed. Wonderful memories are made here!

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was stunning, spotless, and beautifully maintained- the online pictures don’t do it justice! The back patio and pool have incredible ocean views. Kevin was an amazing host - he greeted us, gave us a great orientation, and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. Marie, our housekeeper was wonderful, making us breakfast every morning and keeping the house clean and tidy. I’d definitely recommend for large families or groups traveling to the island! We would absolutely come back. We give our Costa Rican vacation a 10.

The host was very helpful in providing anything we wanted. She booked our excursion to zipline, raft and hot springs. She organized our driver for the week which made exploring very easy. The house was great, Maria the housekeeper was awesome. The only complaint was that the "hot tub" was not hot. The pool and jetted tub does not have heat. The kids didn't mind and there are so many beautiful beaches but would have been nice to have a nice soak under the stars.

Casa Camaleon was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The concierge service provided by Kevin and Sandy helped us plan our trip for a multi-generational family so that everyone could enjoy themselves to the fullest. Most important was gettingthe driver and van for the week. We enjoyed our adventure day at Buena Vista and our day on the Padron, even seeing a family of whales. Andre, our private chef from Chef at Home cooked a delicious dinner for us. And Maria not only made our breakfast and kept the house immaculate, she even did our laundry. My girls wanted to take her home them. Thank you for helping us create this special birthday celebration vacation!

Wonderful Villa

This is a wonderful property with spectacular ocean views. Kevin (concierge) and Maria (cook/housekeeper) were both great; Kevin answered questions about the area and made recommendations for us while Maria prepared a wonderful breakfast each day and kept the villa clean. Juan, the caretaker, stopped by each day to clean the pool and patio area. Our family loved the entire property and it made our vacation special.

Family vacation at Playas del Coco

A truly amazing property located at the edge of a local town! The 3-acre property is gated and private. The villa is the only home on the property and is located on a lush hillside at the end of a tree and hedge lined paved driveway. The villa is spacious with a high level of finish. Large covered outdoor dining and seating areas adjoin a large pool that is connected to a shallow area for toddlers to play and adults to lounge. We ate all of our meals outside. The property includes well-tended botanical gardens and paths. Across the street from the beach, the property has stunning views of the cove and sunsets. Maria, the housekeeper, cooked breakfast every morning and cleaned the house every day. Juan, the groundskeeper, cleaned the pool daily and brought us mangos and coconuts from the property's gardens. Kevin, our local concierge, stopped by daily and handled our every request, including excursion and restaurant reservations. We felt like we were staying in our own private resort. There is a beach club with excellent outdoor dining a block away and a number of restaurants within walking distance. Best vacation ever!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this house. It was gorgeous! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the living spaces were comfortable, the kitchen was amazing, the pool and outdoor area was SO awesome, and the workout room was so great to have. Kevin was so helpful and quick to respond and Maria was maybe the best part! :) Her breakfasts were so good and she took such good care of us. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

This property is truly spectacular! The home is beautiful with wonderful views and amenities galore. Our family enjoyed the space that this home had to offer including the game room and outside pool and entertainment area. It is close to the beach but not right on the beach which was a bit disappointing as some of our family couldn’t access it by walking. The team of people that take care of the property such as the groundskeeper, housekeeper and concierge were fantastic. I’m not sure what we would have done without Kevin, our concierge. He was always very helpful and extremely informative. He literally arranged all of our activities which alleviated lot of stress. I would definitely recommend this property and team!👍

Great Stay at Camaleon

What a week we had at Casa Camaleon! The house is beautiful, the infinity pool is fantastic, the sunsets from the pool couldn’t be better. Maria our housekeeper did a great job taking care of all 11 of us as did Diego our driver. Chef Mark and his team prepared wonderful meals for our group that everyone loved. Lastly Kevin our concierge was the best, he visited every day, responded to every message quickly, and was truly interested in making everything perfect

This place was amazing!

This house was absolutely amazing. We had five couples and there was more than enough room for everyone. The sunsets were unbelievable. Maria and Kevin took care of everything for us. They were awesome! Walter was our private driver for the week. He happily took us anywhere we wanted to go and helped us understand the area and culture. We will be back for sure!

Unforgettable vacation

Casa Cameleon was even better than we expected from the pictures. The grounds were expansive with lush gardens and paths throughout. The entire property was gorgeous and well kept. The layout of the home worked very well for our family of 6 adults and 3 kids. The pool and outdoor seating was enjoyed by all. Meals were always outdoors due to incredible views and accommodating dining set-up. Chef4U was delicious! Our private driver was definitely worth the convenience during our 10 days in CR. A Perfect Vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Camaleon! It is a beautiful and well-maintained property that was perfect for our nine family members ages 11 to 83. Little Slice of Heaven

The gardens and location of Casa Camaleon were very private and lush. Our favorite part of the day was sunset. Every day was another gorgeous view. The Pool is spectacular and we spent a lot of time there. We loved the house and the caretakers, Maria and Juan. They went out of their way to make everything very special. The rooms were large and was nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom. We used the exercise room daily and hired a yoga instructor, Nina, who was excellent. Our driver, Germain, was so patient and kind and made it a very nice way to see everything esp with little children. Our chefs- Mark, Rodrigo and Antonio did breakfast every day and dinners. It made it a real vacation! The catamaran trip was a real hit with our group and the spa treatments- massages and nails at the house were also excellent! We are refreshed and fell in love with Costa Rica! Thank you Star Villas- Sandy, Adriana and Kevin for taking such good care of our family!

Perfect Week in Costa Rica

We loved the property, the location, and the staff! We had a great week with private transportation and chef service. Everyone was so nice! A couple of items I would say need attention in the home would be the refrigerator runs very loud, new stove as a couple of burners seemed to not get hot and for the property the stove is dated and too small. The house could use a few new pots and pans as well! Outside of that, the house was perfect and close to downtown which we loved!

Great relaxing time with family and friends

We had an excellent stay. The house and staff are amazing! The sunsets from the house are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The breakfast made each morning and the two nights with the chef were delicious. Every activity from golf, fishing, or scuba was set up with a simple text with top notch services. We had a great time and will be back.
