linen bags

I personally don't like having to carry 25 kg of linen on my back across 400 m, and then spend one hour putting the linen on the beds, coming back to the reception because they did not give us the right set, puzzling over which linen goes where, etc. Sure they provide caddies, but they seem to always be taken or in a state of disrepair. I have seen this type of campground-like hotel approach in other places in France, but never in any of my travels any other place in the world. I would prefer to know in advance that this is a campground mindset so as to avoid it. To me, it's like if someone invites me for dinner and asks me to clean the toilet while they cook.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a road trip around France. Nice clean site, helpful staff, out of season so very quiet. Like 3 of the other hotels we stayed in during this trip, the swimming pool was not open when we tried to use it despite it being advertised, but otherwise all good

How can this be classified as 4 stars!?! Let's start: 1. You have to pick up both bed linen and towels at the reception and haul it to your room and make the beds etc..Then the same circus hauling dirty towels and linen back to the reception on departure day. One thing is that you may make your own bed but at the very least, the linens should be provided in your room! 4 stars, you must be joking! 2. Poorly cleaned. Dirty floors, cob web all over and mold spots over the cabinets in the kitchen. See picture. 3. Outdoor patio in poor condition. Broken parasol and divider hanging loose. See picture. 4. Water saving nozzle in shower head. Barely producing any water. Took the nozzle off and showered with just the hose to get any rinsing at all. 5. One single toilet paper roll supplied for a multi day stay. No extra handed out, instead given the comment; go and buy one. Customer service par excellence! 6. Daily cleaning charge per dog (EUR 15/day!!) although you only clean one time after departure on a multi day stay. What a scam that is! 7. No starter package (sponge, dish towel and dishwasher soap etc..) given. I have never stayed in a similar facility in France w/o being offered this. 8. Stale bread sold on Sunday morning marketed as freshly baked. Truly a disappointing stay! Be warned!

Maisonnette trĂšs propre, fort bien Ă©quipĂ©e, nombreux rangements, bonne literie. Pas de risque d' inondation ( centre sur un coteau ). Centre trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© ( piscine, minigolf, ping-pong ... ). Un seul bĂ©mol, 18 Euros par jour pour le chien ( 4 kilos ). Nous reviendrons quand mĂȘme.
