The furniture is shabby, the carpets were dirty. Per previous evals: the bathroom sink drains poorly/slowly; carpets dirty. The communication was very poor compared to my previous VRBO hosts; no check in information (check in at 4pm) until I requested it at 5:30pm. The linked "directions" address sent us to another apartment complex many blocks away. There was an underlying aroma of cigarette smoke that actually permeated our belongings. We did not stay the second night due these issues and I have requested a refund for the second night cost. The location was perfect for our needs, but we preferred not to stay with the odors/dirty and complete further exploration of the city. We found a marvelous nearby restaurant "The Breakfast Pig", that had amazing food and an awesome staff. Highly recommend that!

Wardens aptmt redone cheaply. Shower very small to the point of useless. Kitchen tap leaked. Bathroom sink drai we very poorly. Live tv service poor. Living room furniture very good. Amount of hot water for bathroom very good. Fridge very good and beds comfortable. No dresser in either room, just a desk and night table.

Very interesting place. Loved all of the gangster artwork. Kitchenware stuff needs to be updated and checked thoroughly. I realize people dont treat stuff well but a few of the frying pans were not usable. Silverware was limited to 3 of everything. Other than that location is perfect for getting around the city.

A Stay at the Historic Sault City Jail

A beautiful red sandstone building. Second floor accommodations in the warden’s residence were more spacious than expected. Kitchen included all the necessities. Very clean and comfortable. The central location was minutes away from the train station for the Agawa Canyon tour and the waterfront and canal district. Host responded quickly to enquiries. We would recommend the warden’s residence for Sault visitors.

Excellent Stay

Travelling with my sister, we each had our own bedroom which was a bonus. Spacious accommodations along with prompt response from Jason made our stay most enjoyable. Thank you, we will book again!
