This property is absolutely beautiful. It is set up perfectly for large groups. The location is gorgeous and you could spend the entire time exploring just this property! The house manager is wonderful and overall it was a great experience. I would only change two things: the mattresses could use a change and I would have loved to have some black out curtains- but Iâm not a morning person so if you donât mind bright sunshine in your room at 6:30am youâll be fine!
We booked this awesome house to hold an intimate second go around wedding with our parents and adult children/spouses. This house was perfect, and adding the services of Chef Devaughn Sweeting was the icing on the cake (literally). His staff was excellent, and made our wedding day pop, from the perfect cake, to extra flowers, and Palm arch for ceremony. This place has amazing views, beautiful clear water with turtles a plenty. We used the provided paddle boards and kayaks to explore the sound. This is remote but is only 10-15 minutes from a little convenience store that has most staples you need for a stay. We spent a lot of time exploring sites by car from postcard beaches to island cafes. We had a blast across three generations. Quinn Moss the house manager provided some great advice on local attractions. We loved Eleuthera! The prevailing wind makes a huge difference in evening enjoyment outside the first 4 days were perfect, the winds changed and last few nights were very buggy outside, so bring some mosquito spray just in case. The sunrises were pretty, and you can run down the entrance road to the Caribbean side to see the sunsets as well. We hope to return with some friends to do it up again.
Lovely property but needs attention! Example screen doors and ease of tracking on the heavy glass doors. The photos of the kayak and etc are not what exists. As a family being together we had how ever a large time! We feel for the island with this pandemic. So many places closed and for sale, as we are sure the tourism has fallen drastically.
We enjoyed our time at Zion! With lots of bedrooms, room to spread out, and a large kitchen, the layout suited our big family gathering. Even the art and decor was inspiring. We felt welcomed by the pillows suggesting "Good Vibes Only," and that became our motto for the week.
We enjoyed tuning out from the news, floating with the sea turtles, hanging out by the pool, chilling in the swinging chair, playing volleyball, and exploring the island. We visited the Fish Fry, Island Farms, Cape Eleuthera, Tippy's, 1648, and Frigates. From the lower deck, we spotted porpoises, turtles, and manta rays in the clear, shallow water. With three generations on vacation, there was something for everyone. If you're looking to get away from it all, Zion offers a secluded location to gather and unwind.
