Welcome to CasaLong, an idyllic vacation retreat situated in the charming Lagunas de Baru community, just 15 minutes from Dominical Beach in Costa Rica. Located at an altitude of 1000 feet, with over 75 different varieties of fruit trees and numerous tropical flora and fauna, the property offers convenient access to top-notch thrilling activities as well as high-end amenities.
Lounge throughout the day in the rancho, soak up the tropical sunshine, and relish the poolside experience with a captivating view of the ocean.

The villa consists of the main house, the Cabana and Garage apartment and numerous lounge and relaxation areas. The thoughtful design reflects a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics, creating a welcoming environment for a memorable stay during the day, while an impressive array of landscape lights, creates an enchanting atmosphere at night.

Featuring a combined total of 13 beds across the three living spaces and 3,5 bathrooms our property offers comfortable accommodation for up to 16 individuals. This setup is ideal for families, providing three distinct housing units and making it a perfect choice for family reunions!

The property boasts a saltwater swimming pool, a heated jacuzzi, a pavilion housing a DJ booth, and a fully stocked bar, creating an exceptional entertainment hub. Additionally, there is an outdoor kitchen complete with top-of-the-line utensils, fulfilling every visitor's culinary desires with a gourmet chef's dream setup. Our guests can also enjoy pure, fresh drinking water from the property's private natural spring, which produces some of the purest drinking water around.

Main house:
Comprises two bedrooms, ensuring a cozy stay for guests.
-Master bedroom with one queen bed (sleeps up to 2)
-Guest room: with two matrimonial beds (sleeps 2-4), totaling three beds.
The main house is also equipped with a complete bathroom featuring a tub and shower, an indoor kitchen ready for culinary adventures, and a well-stocked open-air outdoor kitchen to savor the delights of al fresco dining including such amenities as Wolfe countertop convection oven, Air Fryer, VitaMix blender, Japanese rice maker, Instapot cooker, Juicing machine and much more!

The Cabana:
Provides a single bedroom with a queen bed accommodating 1-2 guests, as well as two bunk beds featuring matrimonial beds on both the top and bottom bunks, providing sleeping space for 5-10 individuals. In total, there are 5 beds available.
There is also a bathroom with a shower, kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, and gas stove-top burners.

Garage apartment:
Features a single room with one queen bed (sleeps 1-2) and two bunk beds. The bottom bunk has a matrimonial bed, accommodating 2-4 individuals, while the top bunk has 2 single beds, bringing the total to 5 beds.
Additionally, the apartment is equipped with a bathroom that includes a shower, and kitchen area along with amenities such as a refrigerator, coffee maker, and gas stove-top burners.

Our home is located in the Lagunas area, a scenic and tranquil neighborhood in the southern part of Costa Rica, near the popular coastal town of Dominical known for its surfing, lush rainforests, and vibrant local culture. The neighborhood offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, making it an attractive destination for nature enthusiasts.
Immerse yourself in an exceptional vacation experience, relishing diverse outdoor activities, soaking up the tropical sun, and immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the region's flora and fauna. Here are some things you can do while visiting this region:
Bird-Watching: Costa Rica is a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Bring your binoculars and explore the rich birdlife in the surrounding rainforests. Keep an eye out for toucans, parrots, and hummingbirds.
Stargazing: The clear skies away from urban lights make Lagunas an excellent spot for stargazing. Bring a telescope or simply lie back and enjoy the night sky.
Surfing: Dominical is a popular destination for surfers due to its consistent waves. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or a beginner, you can find surf schools and board rentals in the area.
Whale and Dolphin Watching: The waters off Dominical are known for hosting a variety of marine life. Consider taking a boat tour for the chance to spot whales and dolphins. The best time for whale watching is generally from December to April.

It is advisable to opt for a 4x4 vehicle, especially during the "Green Season" from May through November. A 4x4 provides the versatility needed to explore the area, including its breathtaking rivers and waterfalls.
Various car rental companies are conveniently scattered throughout the region, allowing for easy access to rental services.
Additionally, we provide private transportation services for an extra fee, ensuring a hassle-free and personalized travel experience.

-CasaLong presents an array of amenities for guests, including personalized scheduling to optimize their vacation, unique offerings such as fire dancing performances during dinner, the option to hire a DJ for Sunday fun days, private chefs for bespoke meals, and comprehensive itineraries detailing must-do adventures including waterfall repelling, surfing, white-water rafting, hiking, guided tours of national parks, and more.

-Transportation services from the airport, car rentals, and online shopping and delivery can be arranged upon request.
-A wide selection of beverages are available upon request, additionally, guests can enjoy a double tap refrigerated kegerator with a wide selection of craft beers and/or ginger Kombucha. (Price depends upon your choices)
-The property has over 75 different varieties of fruit trees and numerous tropical flora and fauna, which showcases some of Costa Rica's finest.
-Natural Spring onsite which produces some of the purest drinking water around.
-Parking:
Our property offers secure parking space for up to six vehicles and covered carport parking for two vehicles with a control electric gate and an electric pressure washer.
-It is recommended to have a 4x4, especially during the "Green Season" from May through November. Generally speaking, a 4x4 is a great vehicle to have to be able to explore the area, including stunning rivers and waterfalls nearby.
