Hotellet levede overhovedet ikke op til forventningerne. Havde bestilt comfort værelse med balkon, men fik et mørkt standardværelse hvor der intet lys kom ind. Dette var dog en misforståelse med hotel.com ( vi fik efterfølgerne kompensation ), men hotellet kunne se vi havde betal for værelse med balkon. Cafe og restaurant var lukket ned. Terrassen var fyldt med ukrudt og gamle servietter flød på fliserne. Askebærger blev ikke tømt. Morgenmaden var elendig, og man fik en kop kaffe , og skulle lede efter personale for at få en ekstra kop.

Lovely small hotel close to the Viking museum we came to visit. Easy to find driving.Check in was quick. Staff had good command of English. Breakfast was basic ( cooked eggs) and cold foods but tasty. Only issue having no tea/coffee making facilities in the room..

Cozy hotel right by the water

I quite enjoyed my one-night stay at Hotel Strandhalle, although the lack of an elevator was an unpleasant surprise. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the location was excellent.

Beliggenheden er flot og central: du kan få morgenmad med udsigt til himmel og fjord. Personalet er søde og hjælpsomme. Interiøret er alsidigt med et pænt udtryk og totalt kitschet med mine ord. Værelset var fint og rent. Fint til prisen.

Die Unterkunft lag zentral und idyllisch am Wasser. Es gab eine Fahrradgarage und das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit toller Aussicht.

Kunne godt være blevet længere

Vi tog én overnatning på dette hotel der ligger lige ned til vandet. Det er ikke nyt og moderne, men hyggeligt og vi manglede ikke noget. Værelse 125 (familieværelse) lå på 1. sal med fantastisk udsigt. Det var næsten en lille lejlighed med lille entre, fint størrelse værelse, klædeskab, skrivebord, lænestol med puf, sofa og stort badeværelse med karbad. Ikke egnet til gangbesværede da der er 2 trappetrin op til badeværelset. Hyggelig med en lille badeand stillet frem ved badekarret, hvis man har børn med på rejsen. På værelset var en flaske mineralvand stillet frem som var gratis, derudover var der minibar med forskelligt udvalg af drikkevarer. Det var elkedel på værelset, men kun tebreve lagt frem, ikke pulverkaffe. Sengen var god med en stor topmadas. Der var 2 forskellige hovedpuder og på forespørgsel kunne man få andre varianter. Der er et stort udvalg af mad og drikkevarer til morgenbuffeten. Der er spisesteder i gåafstand og en lang gågade med mange butikker i nærheden.

Godt hotel

Dejligt sted lige ved lystbådehavnen. Lækker morgenmad og lækkert værelse. Rigtig god seng. Hotellet ser lidt slidt ud udefra men det snyder der er rent og pænt og særdeles venligt personale. Café og restaurant lukket.
