Modern hotel, excellent 2 night stay
Perfectly placed for a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle. Excellent check in and service, lovely modern hotel. We requested extra water for the room and it arrived immediately. Parking available but not ideal, narrow steep entrance a short walk from reception. Breakfast was good, small but varied buffet and eggs cooked to order. We ate in the Lisl restaurant, the food was excellent but service was haphazard and a little rushed. The evening was spoilt by a very unruly child, perhaps an adults only fine dining experience should be considered. Some beauty products in the bathroom would be nice and replenishment of tissue box which was not done during our stay. The spa pool is not heated as we would usually expect and there is no laundry service in the hotel but still an excellent 2 night stay. A tip re the castle: Give the interior tour a miss! It's overpriced rushed and staff are miserable !

Beautiful hotel with surrounding walking areas to the nearby castles. My 9 year old son and I went in December and the scenery was a magical winter wonderland. Very friendly and helpful staff. My son loved the pool and I loved the saunas. I would recommend this hotel.

Best of the best.
This place is great. I gave a review for the first nights stay already. Best of the best. This review is for our second night. Only 1 complaint. They did not renew our linens or refill our coffe on the second day. Every other hotel we have stayed at in Germany has renewed everything every day.

Best of the best!
This place is great! Hotel staff is very kind and accommodating. Rooms are clean and have stunning views. Breakfast is second to none. I have not spoken german in 10 years but everyone here has indulged me even though I must sound completely ridiculious.

Lovely and luxurious hotel at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle. Stay here to indulge in the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains from the spa and indoor swimming pool.

Great place to stay if you have a car and want to experience the beauty and tranquility at night with fewer tourists. It’s perfectly positioned near the lake, and the castles affording breathtaking views. Service and staff were excellent.

Beautiful lake view at Neuschwanstein. More touching part is the hotel manager arranged a surprised birthday table for me when we went down for breakfast in the cafe; Walter warmly greet me at the cafe entrance! The dinner a day ago was great too, good steak and atmosphere. This hotel is a classic, good-class collection with 5 star renovation.
