This charming beach house sits in a great location in town, with a grassy front yard, a screened sun porch, a fully-equipped kitchen, a laundry room, and more! It has all the essentials you'll need to have a wonderful vacation in Seaside.

What's nearby:
The Sunfish cottage is a mere three blocks to the Promenade and the beach, and it's also only two blocks up to Broadway Street, where many of the town's iconic restaurants, souvenir shops, and activities are focused. Elsewhere in town, you'll find a golf course, river where you can try kayaking, and of course the beach, which is wide and sandy - ideal for building sandcastles!

It was just what we needed! Great proximity to the main strip and the beach. Access to laundry and basic kitchen utensils and dishes. There was a musty smell to the place and dust in some of the nooks and crannies, but overall, relatively pleasant!

Good place!

We couldn't figure out the heating system based on the instructions given, but they had two space heaters to use! We only used one, because using both made the lights flicker and we got nervous haha. But the location and sun room (and cute backyard) were perfect for me and my friend to stay in!

Great Location, Not Ideal when Cold Out

This spot was great! Had nice amenities and was conveniently located near downtown, the beach and other activities around Seaside! Only complaint is the heater took forever to warm the house and turned off randomly even when goal heat was not met. There are space heaters, but it was still pretty chilly. The hosts were great communicators and easy to work with.

Appeared to be adequate parking for one vehicle on street. Listing stipulated that we park our vehicle at the apartment across and down the street. Apartment parking area totally dark at end of building at night. What an environment for potential theft! Also, we seniors require grab bars in the shower stall. Did not use shower as a result. Location great! Home overall was comfortable and setting was quiet and peaceful. Parking and shower concerns cancel any desire to rent this home again.

Great location

My husband and I and our little dog had a wonderful stay in Seaside. The pros for this rental are: cute, little fenced backyard, full sized washer/dryer and great location. Only 2 blocks to the main drag and the Promenade, everything in walking distance. WIFI worked great! The cons: poor ventilation since half the windows don't open and those that did weren't screened. It was very musty smelling, part due to the warm weather, but the house just smells old. We couldn't find a fan (house has 4 heaters) so it was pretty warm the first night. Everything in the kitchen works, but bring your own knives - pots and pans need updating as well. Nice size gas grill, but we didn't use it since it was pretty dirty. Would we stay again? An unethusiastic maybe.

Great location and very clean. Never got any response from any phone number or texting box available. The heater broke on our first night and I ended up getting very sick for the rest of my trip after sleeping in a freezing cold house. Nobody to call and come help. Wanted a partial refund but still no one could communicate back when I filled out my first review🙄

A nice getaway.

We did fine and enjoyed our stay. Property is getting a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Screen door closers are rusting away. Wall lamp in bedroom did not function. Bed was not very comfortable but it was okay. Close to town.

We really enjoyed the town of Seaside. But the dishes were unwashed.

The shower pan gives way as if there is a leak under the shower . Also as I reported silverware and mugs were used with visible food stuck on some silverware and inside mugs. I had to buy sanitizer and wash all dishes in the cupboard to feel safe during Covid 19. Disappointed in these problems because they were so basic to sanitation. Very cute vintage cottage that needs attention.

Older house close to town

This is a wonderful old house close to the beach and all of the downtown shops and restaurants. It has an awesome private backyard and sun room. The place could use some modern touch ups as well as a deep clean. It didn’t have a dresser or end tables in the bedroom or sunroom for drinks and other things. There could be more ventilation for hotter days and more heat for colder nights. The only heater is in the living room and we were cold at night. The location made the place great but it has more potential.
