Peaceful and private studio, easy walk to downtown Edmonds

Spacious, free standing studio near the ferry and city park. You will have everything you need to make this place your home - cooking utensils, a large TV, and large deck for enjoying the sunset. Prime location with walking distance to charming downtown Edmonds, beautiful beaches, 20 minute drive (or 27 minute train ride) to Seattle, and a 3 minute drive to the ferry terminal to get to the Olympic Peninsula. Plenty of off-street parking available for your vehicle, RV, or Trailer.

Come make this your home away from home in the beautiful quaint town of Edmonds. This is a newly remodeled 450 square-foot Studio with large deck on large park-like plot. Our place is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a large yard full of trees including apple, plum trees and blackberries. They are yours for the picking. You will have your own building with a private entrance, and a garage (unfinished) with laundry facilities.
Your will also have a large driveway to park whatever vehicle you would like.

The studio feels roomy and includes a 50" smart TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. no TV or cable subscription), electric fireplace, and environmentally friendly heat pump with Air Conditioning. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the cooking essentials you need if you choose to stay in for a meal. We have a comfy queen bed with a high-end Beautyrest Black mattress. There is also a full fold out couch (please note that the fold out couch would be more comfortable sleeping smaller people, 5' 8" or less) and a queen air mattress. Let us know if you need a pack n play or blow up toddler bed. We have three kids so if you need something for your kids, just let us know.

This is a great chance to try out a smart-home. An amazon echo is included to play music or control the lights. The studio has a high ceiling and unique LED beam lighting.

After a fun day in Edmonds or Seattle, enjoy an evening watching the sunset from the large deck or cooking up s'mores on a bonfire pit (wood provided, but please, only small fires allowed).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The studio apartment was modern, spotless, and very well maintained. The property is private and peaceful, yet just a short 3–5-minute walk to downtown Edmonds, which made exploring the area so easy. If you’re planning a trip to Edmonds, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

Great location for walking to downtown Edmonds. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and the Edmonds bookstore, just a walk awayClean and neat. Comfortable bed. Very nice shower. Nice not to have a lot of the owners knickknacks cluttering the unit.A short drive to grocery stores. I would recommend Vern's Studio. And would stay at Verns again There is not a pool, but for some reason VRBO makes the form so one has to rate the nonexistent pool????

Check in could not be easier! You choose a lock code ahead of time and move in at your leisure Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The sun hits the deck late afternoon , a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine! The bed is very comfy, that along with a cool breeze from the window makes for a perfect nights sleep. The studio is in a prime location! You can walk to everything in Edmonds including the beach. Joe is a very accommodating host. I will stay in the studio again.

Perfect Location

Perfect location 20 minutes out of the city yet central to everything we wanted to do. 2 hours from Mt Rainier National Park. If you hop on the Kingston ferry once off it is a 2 hour drive to the the Olympic National Park main visitor center. To Anacortes, where we took the ferry to San Juan Island, it's an hour/hour and a half depending on traffic. Whale watching was only a 15 minute walk from condo to the Edmonds Whale watching ferry, and yes, we did see orcas! 30 minutes from Discovery Park which was worth the loop trail! 30 minute drive from condo to Aliki Beach. First time in west coast and no regrets. The condo was spotless, bright, and tastefully decorated. Joe and Sejal were absolutely exceptional hosts! Just left and Can't wait to come back!

Family visit

We have family in Everette, Kingston, andShoreline. This was a perfect location. We could walk on the ferry to visit family, saving lots of time compared to taking our car across. The town of Edmonds gave us interesting coffee and dinner options when we were not with family. A great home base. Joe was very responsive to our check in and questions.

Cozy, convenient, and felt like home!

Fantastic studio space that is very clean and fun. It was the perfect space for our weekend adventure with our two teens. We loved the mattress and shower accommodations. Very comfortable! The location is wonderful and a short walk to a beautiful park, Puget Sound beaches, marina, and local businesses. This place had everything we needed to be comfortable. The hosts (Joe & Sejal) were warm, inviting, and treated us like family (we happened to meet Joe when we arrived). This is a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking for a place that feels like home.

Cute little cottage walkable to a cute little town could inspire a novel/movie. We had everything we needed for a relaxing break from our cross country move. Owners provide a great booklet of local info - don't miss the BBQ deli counter at the nearby hardware store!

Quiet Refuge

We love staying at Vern’s Studio. It is charming and cozy and quiet. Within walking distance to our favorite coffee shop, Walnut Street Coffee and a short drive to the ferry terminal and PCC Market, it’s an ideal location. It is definitely our preferred place to stay when we visit Edmonds to see our kids and grandkids.

Fabulous Gem in Edmonds!

This was a perfect place to stay to be able to walk to Downtown Edmonds and the waterfront. The host was excellent and immediately responsive in communication. Safe and quiet, comfortable - I loved it. I stayed for 2 weeks and could have stayed longer - there's still so much I didn't get to explore. I loved all the Christmas decorations that are in the neighborhood. Highly recommend this comfy cottage.
