Very nice rooms
We arrived about an hour and a half before check in opened, but there were no parking spots, so we had to park in a public car park a few blocks away. We were offered a welcome drink, but at the bar were then told that this only covered coffee - as it was about 30 degrees outside, we kindly declined. The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished. It was one of those rooms that you just feel really cosy and at home in, so that was perfect. Breakfast was a little chaotic - it was busy holiday time, granted, but with the squeeze in the breakfast room it didn't seem particularly relaxing. Location of the hotel is good - right by the beach.

Few days in Ahlbeck
The hotel was good and had very friendly service. The room itself was pretty small especially the bathroom but clean and nice. The restaurant was located at top floor with great view to the sea and you always found something for breakfast. Unfortunately it was boring after 3rd day as it was always same and not as used to in 4* hotel. In the evening it was difficult to find a spot for your bicycle inside as there is no dedicated safe room provided, only very narrow place under the stairs.

Leider enttäuschend…. Der Check in wurde von einem sehr arroganten Mitarbeiter durchgeführt, der Weg zum Zimmer führte über zwei Etagen ohne Fahrstuhl.(eine Info, über den nicht vorhandenen Fahrstuhl fehlte.) Das Hotel besitzt einen sehr schönen Pool, aber die Saunalandschaft ist nichts… dazu kommen noch abgelaufene Lebensmittel in der Minibar….

Leider war es dem Hotel nicht möglich, 2 aufeinanderfolgende Einzelbuchungen zu einer Gesamtbuchung zusammen zu fügen, so dass wir am 2. Tag mit einer abgelaufenen Schlüsselkarte wir an die Rezeption mussten, um erneut einzuchecken. Einfach umständlich und man muss den Gast beim einchecken darauf hinweisen. Zum Frühstücken muss vorab ein Slot gewählt werden, das lief schon vor einem Jahr eher suboptimal, da viele Gäste nach einer Stunde Frühstück lieber noch ein wenig sitzen bleiben & vom Personal niemand darauf verweisen möchte. Blöd für die, die warten müssen oder gleich wieder umkehren…
