The host was so nice that he met us at the property and let us check in early as we had an early morning flight and and had a lot of luggage. It made it so convenient to be able to have a place to put everything and not worry about waiting until check in time. The place is really clean and property well taken care of.

A traditional hanok stay in the heart of Seoul. Although you are sleeping on a mat on the floor, it was very comfortable. The place was great. I would stay here again and have already recommended it to friends. The area is fantastic!!!!!

There are much better options in Insadong
We're used to staying in Ryokans in Japan, so the minimalness of the room was not a problem. The mattress, however, was one of the thinnest and hardest we've ever slept on. Not acceptable at all. The description stated free bottled water, but it was only available for sale. In all, this was not a good value for money.

Wonderful.
What a great place. Very cozy and so, so welcoming. I’m working over in China and know that I’ll definitely be returning to Raon in the not too distant future. I loved the neighborhood, it was super easy to get to and from the airport, and the building itself was beautiful. It is not a traditional hotel setting, so if you need perfect silence or a Western mattress, then it may not be the right fit. For anyone else, though, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Perfect place
I have been there for a 6 nights and after that came for my last night in Korea. The location is perfect: very close to public transport and airport limusine, Insadong street, palace, restourants, vilage and other tourist attractions. On the other hand, the place is very silent and cozy. Rooms are clean. Stuff speak very good English and very friendly. You can book with them a trip to DMZ (do it in advance if you want to go to JSA) and you will pay significately low promotional price. So I can summarize my experience as very good. Thank you

The guest house is very near to the palace. Easy to commute to city by bus or train. Room is comfortable enough to stay. Host is very welcome and kind.
