Great location because there are lots of options for public transportation near by. There are convenience store sand an Olive Young nearby which were also a big plus for me. Room was very clean (the only negative was that the bathroom would sometimes have an old water like smell come up). I used the laundry facilities and didn't like that it was put in the same place where the microwave and water dispenser was because it would smell like food and laundry at the same time in such a small space. The instructions on the dryer told users to empty the dust build up but the hotel didn't have the proper tools to do so (no trash can or brush in the laundry room). It would be great if you could separate the laundry facility from the microwave/water dispenser (it smells and is too cramped). Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if I were to be visiting Seoul.
The hotel sits between two subway stations making getting around easy. The area has plenty of restaurants to choose from, but not much is open before 10 if you are looking for a western style breakfast. Although, there is a McDonald's and plenty of coffee shops near by.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. They provide two bottles of water in your room daily. You can also get additional water bottles in the lobby on the 3rd floor. They provide water machines and laundry on the 10 and 20 floors. Free coffee is available at the lobby. Laundry will cost you 10,000 won to do a load (5,000 for the washer and 5,000 for the dryer).
I had a standard twin room that came with two twin beds. You can push them together to make a king size bed. The room is small and does not offer much space, but that is typical in Seoul. The only complaint I had is that the bathroom sink light does not have enough light. This makes shaving and putting on makeup a challenge.
There is an airport bus stop near by that takes you to the Incheon airport. The bus number is 6015 and it runs about every 15-20 minutes and takes 40-50 minutes to Terminal 2. There is also an option to take the airport train at the Gongdeok station, but there is no elevator or escalator at the station exit 1 that you would take to get to this hotel making luggage a challenge. I did scout out that there is an elevator at Exit 9 across the street in front of the Glad Hotel.
The hotel is clean. The room was very spacious, seemed to be updated, and had great views. The toilet seat had a warmer and the lid automatically opened upon approach! There were water coolers to fill your bottles and nice washing machines available to do your own laundry which was very convenient and appreciated. They had the hardest beds I have ever laid down - may as well be a think yoga mat on a hardwood floor. The area immediately by the hotel is a quiet in the evening with few food options but it's relatively close to the subway station and accessible to buses too.
