The staff was excellent and helped us plan some of our outings and transportation. The breakfast was excellent also and exceeded our expectations. Although we didn't use the kitchen much, we did use the coffee maker. We also appreciated the washer/dryer and the iron and ironing board. We were traveling with 2 other couples and one thing that concerned all of us was the drop off area at the entrance. Several of us tripped on that area and one of the adults fell and hit her head on the wall. Perhaps, as Americans, we are not used to having an area to remove our shoes and we are aware of that, but some type of identification needs to added to that area to distinguish it from the floor. The floor and the drop off area are made of the exact same type of flooring and the different heights are not noticeable to many people. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone visiting your fine city.

Incredible stay! Recommend highly!

Amazing stay. Incredible value. We had a 2 BR which was fully equipped. So spacious we felt we could stay there-wished we could stay there for months. Breakfast was included in our package and was great. There is a small but very nice playroom for kids! And the fitness center looked clean and bright and had all kinda of machines though we didn’t use it. Our room happened to have an absolutely incredible view. The location was perfect to see the places, walk two blocks (if that) to Insadong. We will definitely stay here if we visit Seoul again!

The proximity to major landmarks was amazing and space and amenities in the hotel were great. The overall cleanliness could be improved, like the children’s play area downstairs was very dusty and in our hotel room, some areas were dusty and worn. But overall, it was a great space for our family with 2 young children to spread out and walk around everywhere.

We really enjoyed staying at the Somerset. The staff was very friendly, the location is great being right next to Insadong and all the nearby neighborhoods and restaurants. The room was very big considering the price which even had it's own washer/dryer. Our only complaint is that there didn't seem to be very many electrical outlet locations for charging our devices but other than that, this was a great hotel. We would definitely consider staying here again when in Gangbuk (North of the river).

Hotel in best location

Family of x4 perfect room as 2bedroom with kitchenette and x2 bathrooms. Quiet stay except if windows open hear protesters as embassies near. Also a Buddhist temple next to hotel with early morning drumming, gongs and chanting. Close the window at night. The staff in all areas were polite and welcoming especially the breakfast area which the food was tasty and a great variety. Location was perfect for the palaces, Insadong and close to Subway for all over Seoul. Highly recommend this hotel.

A great stay!

They were so helpful and kind and accommodating. The location is great and parking is super convenient and easy. We stayed once and then stayed again for longer. Breakfast is free and delicious and not too much. A lot of people stay here and for good reason! Would 11/10 recommend again!

This apartment hotel is very clean and spacious. I especially like the washer and dryer, allowing my family to wash the new clothes immediately before wearing them the next day. The breakfast is very good. It is also close to a subway station.
