Gatlinburg cottage

It was very good stay in Cozy Cave. All the required things are there as mentioned on VRBO app. Check-in and checkout was also smooth. Andy was very prompt in answering in our queries. Overall a good stay.

Beautiful and spacious cabin in a quiet setting

My husband has always had a dream to wake up one Christmas morning in a cabin in the Smoky Mountain area. This year for his retirement, we made it happen! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and in a quiet setting. It had a large open floor plan. The bear décor throughout the entire home was just lovely. Some of the family couldn’t make it in due to the high winds canceling air flights but there was ample bedding for nine people just as it advertised for. There were plenty of games and DVDs. The beautiful wraparound porch had a hot tub and plenty of rocking chairs. The colors throughout the home were very welcoming. The only reason I couldn’t give it a five is because the one tub was not completely clean and there was no bath soap left in the house. I also think that for four nights, there should have been at least twice as many towels and washcloths. The icy mountain road was also an issue at one point. I do suggest printing out the directions as suggested by the owner because we didn’t do that and our last day there we didn’t have reception anywhere in Pigeon Forge.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had a great time at Crazy Cove. The property is brand new and therefore in pristine condition. It was very clean when we arrived. There is ample parking for several vehicles. There was a lot of attention that they put into making it a real home away from home. We enjoyed that there were games, DVDs, pool table, and a very fun arcade console with 60 different games. We also enjoyed the hot tub which was clean and in perfect condition. There were extras that made a big difference like having a clothes iron and hairdryer. The TVs and satellite channels worked great. Being in the mountains, there isn’t good cell reception and the internet is satellite based so it isn’t super fast. However, we knew that going in and we really didn’t have any problems. The internet is slower than what you’ll be used to at home but it was sufficient for us. Our kids were able to sign into their live classes and do school remotely without a problem. The back deck is beautiful and if you’re quiet, you can watch animals in the woods behind the house. The location of the cabin is a little out of the way which is exactly what we wanted. We wanted to feel like we were in the Smokys, not at a resort. However, the new Food City supermarket in pigeon forge is only 10-15 minutes away so you really aren’t very far from anything you need. Communication through the app or text was always super prompt and friendly. I’m sure there’s much more that I could say, but for the sake of brevity, make this your next vacation destination and you won’t regret it! Thank you Rick and Cindy. We’ll be back!
