High On The View is a magnificent, 2621 sqft elegantly furnished log cabin with a spectacular view, located in the exclusive Hidden Springs Resort, just minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country and Pigeon Forge and only a short drive to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Main Level:
The main level comes with the living room, kitchen, dining area and a master bedroom.

Guests enter this incredible cabin on the main level through the fully equipped open-plan kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar with two stools. The dining area offers two tables with 14 chairs so that everyone can enjoy a meal together. The living room features a plush leather sofa, love seat, chair, stacked stone electric fireplace, a large flat screen TV with Blue Ray DVD player, HD satellite service, Internet, WiFi and floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the spectacular mountain view.

The master bedroom offers a king bed, a large flat screen TV, HD Satellite receiver, DVD player, jetted tub, shared full bathroom and access to the deck.

The living room offers access to the deck with table and chairs and rockers where guests can relax and experience the wonderful peace and quiet.

Upper Level:
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with a king bed, flat screen TV, DVD player and a full size bathroom between the two bedrooms.

Lower Level:
Downstairs, guest will find the game room and 3 bedrooms.

The game room comes with a pool table, sofa sleeper, love seat, electric fireplace, a large flat screen TV, HD Satellite receiver, and DVD player.

There are three bedrooms on this floor, one with king bed, dresser, closet, flat screen TV, HD Satellite receiver, DVD player and a full size bathroom and the other two bedrooms offer king beds, flat screen TVs, satellite TV and DVD players. A full size bathroom is located in between these bedrooms, off the game room.

Step out onto the lower deck where you will find rockers and a hot tub.

Guests staying at High On The View has access to the Hidden Springs Resort facilities including the heated indoor pool with large deck to enjoy year round!

Guests are provided with a complimentary Luxury Pass, offering a free ticket daily to several of the area’s most popular attractions. Not to mention unlimited DVD rentals!

Good But Could've Been Great

The cabin and views are top notch!!! The furniture in the property is not the same as shown in the pictures, it was worn and stained and needs to be upgraded and replaced!!! I was assured the furniture issues were corrected before my visit as I read other reviews listing these same items and it wasn't. New or better furniture, the TV's and cable working in each room along with keeping the water in the hot tub fresh so it doesn't smell like egg water would make this a 5 Star property, but as it is ill give it 3.5 Stars.

Exceptional view - Neglected property.

Furniture and furnishings are old and ruined. The property has been neglected and needs a thorough cleaning along with serviceable furniture and updated furnishings. View from the cabin was exceptional. The property is conveniently located to major attractions in and around the Great Smoky Mountains. This would be a 5 star property with the previous recommendations.

Beautiful view...terrible accomodations.

1. Pictures are extremely deceptive. False advertisement...property not worth price I paid. 2. Furniture and floors scratched and nasty. Couches and furniture weren't like pictures... outdated and abused. 3. Lady bugs, stink bugs...other insects in showers, kitchen, and bedrooms even after I cleaned them all up everyday 4. TV's were not programmed...some remotes didn't match TV's...some remotes didn't work. Surround system completely non frunctional. 5. Pipe under kitchen sink came loose and leaked through the floor to a ceiling in a downstairs bedroom soaking a 3' by3' square on the bed...including bedspread, pillows, sheets, bed pad, and mattress...bed not useable after first night. 6. Smoke alarm battery in master bedroom started beeping in the middle of the first night. We had to call and get them to change the battery. 7. Couldn't set the alarm because there was a bad door sensor. We will not stay here again....

Great place to stay. Awesome view

The office was so easy to deal with. Got to sign everything over the phone and never had to go to the office. Went straight to the cabin. And also the cabin was ready before check in and they let us go in early.

Online Pictures are deceptive!!!

All the pictures that are shown are false. Sofa sets were broken and very filthy. Dining table chairs were broken. Mattress in all the rooms were sagging with dirty and beaten comforters. We (14 of us)were there for 3 days and had no place to sit. Maintenance manager checked everything and was shocked himself to see cabin in such poor condition. Still the cabin management company didn't do anything about.

On top of the mountain

The property was perfect! People could be in the hot tub while others slept and no one was bothered...... the neighbors below didn’t affect the privacy at all.... planning another trip to stay in the same cabin next year!!

No Water - Nightmare

While the cabin was nice for the size of our family. The community experience was not the best. When we arrived, we found a notice posted on the door, that stated that due to a water shortage, they will be turned off the water from 9 PM - 6 AM, there was no advance notice before check in and then the 1st morning, the water was not back on until almost 9:30 AM. The next morning was even worse, it was almost 11 AM before the water was back. When I called, I was told that there was nothing they could do and if we needed water to take it from the hot tub. So take water from the hot tub and the be charged for damages to it when the water is to low and there is no water to fill it. When you are a family of 12 with 2 small children, this was more then just a small inconvenience. While we understand about a shortage, shutting off the water while families were out and about would have made more sense and less of an inconvenience while families were on vacation. I was told that a manager would be calling me back, 3 days later and I still have not heard from anyone. I would have expected a better guest experience with the price that we paid for a 4 night stay. Very disappointed.
