family getaway in the smokies!
It was a lovely cabin for our 3 couples to stay for a week of family vacation. It was just the right size, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen (plates, cups, cooking utensils, bowls, etc). Each bedroom had 4 towels so we did laundry a few times and we did need to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels and garbage bags. The hot tub worked and was very clean and warm and very relaxing. Loved the rockers and swings on the decks!
The cabin parking is very tight so really only good with 2 vehicles. We had three. very close to pigeon forge and easy driving.
We loved seeing the wildlife but recommend cautioning renters now more firmly since we had visitors on the deck-- We had a raccoon visit us every morning on the deck so obviously past residents have left out food (so please be careful and don't leave anything out on the deck!). We also had 2 bears visit us by the cars and walked down the street and in the back of the cabin (so again-don't leave out any food, keep car doors locked and watch for them when you are outside).
Loved the pool table upstairs and we also used the ping pong table at the pool area; pool and baby pool very nice and also played a game of putt-putt. The boys went fishing too so nice that you have all the equipment ready for us to use.
