This hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The best thing about this hotel was that it was a five minute walk from the train station. There were many restaurants nearby. The room and bathroom was on the smaller side. But everything was comfortable. It is a bit of a walk (20-30 min) to the major attractions, but it is on a bus route. There is also a grocery store on the next block, which was helpful.

Receptionists speak English and very helpful. However, other than them, no one seems to be able to communicate unless you speak Spanish. We like the property; it is clean, but perhaps way overuse of bleach. We are still debating whether this is a place that we would recommend. My wife lost a pouch full of cash, a couple of credit cards, and a sim card. And she swore that she lost it in the room as she was organizing the luggage. We never found it in any of our stuff. We called the hostel and sent a couple of emails, hoping that the cleaners would turn it in to the receptionist. Unfortunately, nothing was turned over, and the hostel staff kept insisting that my wife lost it somewhere, just not in the room or their hostel. So if you book here, just make sure that you lock your luggage and triple check everything before leaving the room.

Just okay
Nice, clean room, minus the smell (room 209). The drain pipes of the shower seemed to be backed up somewhere in the building. Made the bathroom smell of sewage. Asked the desk about it and they said it had happened before and they called someone to “fix” it. Came back to footprints in the bathroom, a window that had been opened, and the smell disappeared for a bit. However, it returned very soon. Otherwise, not a bad place. A bit of a walk to the old part of town, but close to the train station.
