Stunning property

Beautiful house spotlessly clean in a quiet location on the shore of Lake Annecy. Adjacent to the cycle path and four bicycles available for guests use so was an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

Nice little Break - Communication could have been better

The property is great for 4 people, spacious rooms the furniture is modern and contemporary, it was clean and the sofa and beds were comfortable. Small decked area with couple of sun loungers and table and chairs and private parking. The added bonus of the bikes was appreciated! The owner lives on site and the view from their property of the lake is amazing. The position of the property is perfect. A short 15 minute cycle ride to Annecy which is absolutely beautiful full of history and lovely restaurants. On the negative side we did feel the villa lacked a 'personal' touch - there are no curtains or blinds at the downstairs windows and there weren't any board games or cards. There is also no washer or drier and I think if you were there for more than a week you would need this. The downstairs WC would have been better served as a small utility room. We also had no welcome pack at all, no cleaning products, no milk/bread - other people have stated they had a bottle of chilled champagne??? There is also no information book at the property as you would normally find - no instructions for the cooker or electrical information and nothing on medical emergency. Also the air con was broken and was not fixed during the time we were there. Our first time booking with Vrbo. and we were a little disappointed in the communication from the owner. We didn't receive any notification that the money had all been received until we requested this and despite being informed that arrival instructions would be available 2 days before arriving this wasn't received till the day before with the reason given, because he had tenants in till the day we arrived?

Gorgeous villa close to the lake

We had a very relaxing stay at this villa. The property is tastefully decorated, very clean, welcoming and had very comfortable beds. The photos don’t do it justice! It’s only a 10 mins walk to sevrier beach and has good access to Old Annecy and St Jorioz. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

We had a lot of fun. The property is recently renovated with top of the line amenities. We enjoyed the bikes (bike path only a few meters away to go around the lac d’Annecy) and 30 min away from the Semnoz ski station.

Lovely gite in lovely Annecy!

A fantastic property renovated and presented in excellent condition. Richard is a terrific host who was always available if needed. The wifi was damaged in a storm and was repaired promptly. The location of the gite was perfect with fantastic views of the lake. And a lovely touch with a bottle of champagne chilled for our arrival. Merci beaucoup Richard!

Beautiful lakeside location

Perfect accomodation for 2couples. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Great bathrooms. Close to shops and restaurants. Close to bike tracks ( which are provided) and lakeside walks. Only suggestion is that a washing machine and dryer would make it perfect.

Great quality

My family spent two glorious weeks at Richard and Julie's immaculate gite in a beautiful location within a very short downhill stroll of the lake. The (free) use of their town bikes was fantastic, as the walk into Annecy itself is a bit further than you might think, especially when it's a hot day! We would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

What an incredible location and property

The check in process was a bit delayed, but smooth and very friendly. The apartment was incredible, clean and beautifully designed. Every thing was designed with purpose and for the upmost luxury (the coffee was soo good). The bedrooms had automatic roof blinds so you could look at the stars - exquisite! The location was just perfect, only a short walk to the water and about another 8 minutes to a swimming spot - the view from the car park was perfect. There are free bikes which enabled us to bike around the lake, definitely recommended! There are many great restaurants in walking distance, including a bakery and a pizza place down the road. Julie and Richard were the most gracious hosts, thank you so much for making our family holiday perfect. Your generosity and kindness made me love France and Annecy even more. Thank you.

Another world!

We had 5 nights in this wonderful house above the shores of Lake Annecy. The property is fitted out with the best quality of everything and the owner, Richard, is really helpful and friendly. Best of all, we arrived in cloud and rain, woke up next day and went into the garden to see the most breathtaking views of lake and mountains. Like waking up in another world!

Fantastic House

A great high spec, fully re-furbished modern house in an ideal location We spent just under a week in the house which has everything you need, the attention to detail is first class even a chilled bottle of Champagne on our arrival. Richard is a fantastic host and assisted us with all of our needs including recommending and booking for us some great local restaurants, he even gave us a lift into Annecy one evening. (Restaurant L’Atelier Sens O – approx. 500 metres from the house is well worth a visit). Access to the lake and cycling path around the lake is very close to the house for which we used a number of times for walking and riding around the lake or into Annecy. There are also some amazing cycling routes into the mountains nearby. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the house and will be back in the future ! Fabuleux!

Prestations et équipements de qualité, high tech, literie excellente, 4 vélos à disposition. Location très bien située: quelques minutes d'Annecy, dans une propriété avec une vue imprenable sur le lac, au calme, parking sécurisé, piste cyclable juste en-dessous (sportifs, n'oubliez pas vos affaires de sport) et plage à quelques mètres. Tout est réuni pour passer un agréable séjour.
