The property was dated, my bathroom was dirty and the door did not close. Floor in our room was dirty as well as the knob of the door. Had white powder all over. Beds were very squeaky so was hard to sleep if you moved any.

The staff were wonderful and the room was clean. However the bed was terrible.. It was completely sunken in the middle and uncomfortable. And the mattress on the pull out sofa was dirty and had several large stains. There was not any additional bedding to be able to use the pull out sofa bed either.

No elevator stay on second floor. Roaches in the room, room was outdated. Water wasn’t hot. Stayed next to the washer and dryer that didn’t stop the whole stay. Staff was rude when we checked out. Another guest was noisy hollering on the phone in the hallway.

The entire place was clean and the room smelled nice and neutral, which is a huge deal for me. Staff was pleasant and helpful, the lady who checked us in was very nice about getting us into a different room that was easier for my arthritic dog to access. Breakfast was good. I will definitely stay here again next time we visit Holden Beach.
