Best luxury hotel overall in Shanghai! Great location, next to Nanjing pedestrian street and the bund. Excellent restaurant; surprised it’s not a Michelin star restaurant. Lots of nostalgic themes but not a run down place. Very well decorated and clean room. Love to come back!

Excellent hotel with old world service. Excellent breakfast. The food at the "French" restaurant was awful. Food was not as advertised. The charcoal grilled veal rack had never been near any charcoal and was tough. Same for the rack of lamb. They should either hire a new chef or close the restaurant

Centrally located in the Bund, very convenient to go to any directions. The service is excellent staff pays attention to details. However there’s not enough dining places in the hotel and it’s pricey too. Fortunately there are plenty of restaurants around the areas.

The hotel is a landmark facility in Shanghai. The historic features are well maintained, and they have a tour for guests to see the museum and some amenities. Well managed. Great location and great services. Impressive.
