It’s a great hotel and located fairly close to the HK border which makes it easily accessable if you are coming by train from HK. I guess the hotel has been built some time ago and is slightly dated. Also it would be great if the hotel can be connected to the underpass and especially when it rains it is hard to get across to the railway station

Staff provided excellent service and are very professional and friendly. I have been staying at Shangri-La every year for the past 10 years and I am never disappointed which is why I keep coming back. Shangri La hotels are always good, even when facility is dated because staff is so good. Room could use more plugs and USB chargers. Had a 2 bed room for 3 adults but beds are really too small for more than 1 adult. Luckily we are petite.
