This lodge is just lovely. It is located on a small sheep farm which was a great bonus. The sheep are on the fields like 6 feet from your door and they had just had babies! There are pheasants too. The lodge is well equipped and the beds comfy. The heating is really good; had to turn it down at times. The views are outstanding and on a clear night you can see so many stars. There is no noise from anywhere, it is so peaceful. It is about a 20 min drive from Shrewsbury so ideal for visiting. I would highly recommend this lodge to family and friends and will no doubt be back.
