I arrived on crutches due to a during-the-holiday accident. The hotel was united in helping me out, with luggage, with meals, with finding understanding taxi drivers/tour guides for the Angkor Wat. The restaurant was quite good as well.

The staff are amazing. The lobby and rooms are clean and updated, some of the hallways have older carpet but that's such a minor thing. The rooms are large and clean, as are the bathrooms. The breakfast was remarkable, from freshly made eggs to order to fresh bread every day. It's a medium walk (12-15 minutes) or really short tuk-tuk to Pub Street. A couple of little bonuses - next door is the best supermarket in town, and the bus to the airport starts outside that market (though you need to go source the ticket elsewhere the day before. Overall, a really good place to stay.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel with the finest service. Vanthorng at the front desk learns and remembers your names. He and other staff greet you every time you come and go, helpful arranging transportation and sight seeing. Pool nice but a bit cold. Massage at the spa was great, I had 2 in a week. Breakfast buffet was above average, fresh cooked eggs, bacon, fruit, Asian choices, etc. Room service was good and well priced. A/C broke one night and we were switched to a new room right away. No complaints, we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!

Disappointing

How do I start? I guess you get what you pay for! The hotel is inexpensive, but the conditions of the hotel is nothing like how the pictures are showing on the website, nor I don’t understand how it is 5 star rating from so many other people, I think it’s fair to be 3 stars , but if it was rated correctly I would rather pay more and stay at a nicer place, the hotel is old, some updates were done, but the sound proofing is bad, the bathroom is old and dirty, the flooring is some old carpet and it’s filthy, service is good, the breakfast is average, it’s better than hostels

Great option!

I had a great stay! The staff was AMAZING!! They even gave me a free upgrade! The staff helped me arrange my visits to Angkor Wat, they helped me book a tuk tuk (at a very fair price), whose driver was also amazing! I also had the best lok lak in town in their restaurant! The hotel is run down, old and the room had a musky smell, but the service, food and cleanliness compensated it!

I thought this was walking distance to pub street but it wasn’t. Not bad though, just a $2 Tuk Tuk ride over. Friendly staff and clean place. My only complaint is I booked it because online pics showed a gym which when I arrived it was a closet with 2 bikes. Wasn’t even new bikes. Didn’t workout at all.
