Beautiful setting
We had a lovely week in the chalet which is in a great location with plenty to do in the area. The chalet is basic and reasonably clean- perhaps a little expensive but we did go in August. Upon arrival there is the charm of the church bells and the cows with bells in the field next door. However after hearing the church bells chiming every 15 minutes throughout the whole night it was rather difficult to get any sleep! The key holder is a friendly man and the check in/out process straightforward.

Charming home in Switzerland with lots to do and see nearby.
There was so much to see and do very close to this home. The view of the lake from the home was fantastic. Good restaurants nearby or if you decide to make you own breakfast, lunch or dinner you can enjoy the lake view from the terrace! Most important point is I would rent this home again!

Got too much noise in early morning from building construction in front of home
The home quite nice, very good view, but got disturbing from front home building construction & also church billing every 15 or 30 munites. ...my kids wake up always from sounds

House is in a great location, short walk to town/lake, 6 min walk back up the hill to the house. House is a little musty (but overall clean) and could use some floor fans to air it out and cool it off. And some newer glasses/mugs and bathroom hand soap would be nice. Beds are comfortable. Deck with incredible view and relaxing. Spacious house, would recommend. Man that checked us in was very nice and helpful.

Chalet mit Blick über den Thuner See
Chalet mit toller Lage und wunderbarem Blick über den Thuner See. Idyllisch gelegen in dem kleinen Ort Merligen mit Aussicht über Thuner See und auf die Berge (Niesen und Stockhorn). Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Berner Oberland. Die Ausstattung ist etwas älter, aber solide. Ein vollständiges Badezimmer, dazu Dusche in einem Schlafzimmer, separates WC und Waschbecken in allen Schlafzimmern.
