We were checked into a room that had water all over the floor at the entrance and bathroom and toilet would not flush. Not a great arrival at ten o’ clock at night. No VIPamenity.

Convenient to airport but early morning transportation was very slow. No shuttle. Our toilet was broken and no one showed up to fix it after we called. Smoke detector flashed annoying light all night. Coffee maker did not work. Reading light at bed out. Unless they improve in the near term I cannot recommend this property.

Overall, property was in excellent condition! We unfortunately, do not speak Spanish, so that was the only challenge we experienced, but the kind staff at the front desk used Google translate.

I chose the Fiesta Inn in Silao mainly because of its proximity to the airport and the shuttle service they advertised. However, a week before my trip, they notified me that the shuttle service was unavailable. I reached out, explaining that this was the reason I selected the hotel, and they kindly offered to arrange a pick-up for me. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was no one to pick me up, and I ended up taking a cab. To make up for the inconvenience, they offered a complimentary late check-out, which I appreciated. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but as a light sleeper, I had a few minor issues. There was a buzzing noise, and the thermostat had a bright light that disturbed my sleep. My wife, however, had no problems at all, so it might not be an issue for everyone. On the bright side, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and a highlight of our stay. Overall, it’s a good hotel with friendly service, despite a couple of setbacks.
