I had a pleasant stay at Furama RiverFront Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and professional, and the location was convenient. Overall, the experience was positive and I appreciated the value the hotel offers. However, I feel the elevator situation needs urgent attention. During my stay, one of the elevators was out of service, which caused delays during busy periods. I also heard from other guests that this issue has been ongoing for nearly two years. If that’s true, it’s quite concerning for a hotel of this standard. Regular maintenance and prompt repairs should be a priority to ensure guest comfort and safety. Aside from that, everything else met or exceeded expectations. I would consider staying again, especially if the elevator issue is resolved. The hotel has great potential, and addressing this long-standing problem would make a big difference in the guest experience.

The Furuma hotel needs updating. The photo on Expedia does not match the hotel rooms. We arrived and were given two single beds. We moved to another room and the whole floor was full of screaming children. NOT much of a sleep in when kids and mothers are screaming. the breakfast was very crowded and the same menu every day. The buffet breakfast area was not very clean either. A disappointing stay, we changed areas to see something new, instead we should have stayed at Orchard road. Orchard road never disappoints and is cleaner.

The Room was Dirty! I always Clean with Lysol wipes wherever I go! Very Dirty and Smelled of Urine in Closet. Food and Room Service was the Worst! Different menus for code to scan in room and website. Called operator to connect, she tells me someone will call me back! Never Did!

Room size was terrible for 2 people. Only 2 metres wide! Room was cleaned only once and our rubbish taken away. TV didn't work. Shower water went everywhere. No place to sit or put clothes. Certain restaurants were unavailable due to functions. The only hotel bar was blocked off at times.

The hotel is "nice enough" for being a more reasonably priced offering in an otherwise increasingly expensive city. The location is decent and in a quiet area (no nearby shopping or eateries) and within a 5-minute walk to the Havelock MTR station on the Thompson/East-Coast line. At the time of our stay in early October 2025, there was green mold growing on the outside of our bedroom window on the 11th floor and the faucet sink handle popped off easily. Housekeeping was only done after the first 3 days stay and, evidently, the broken faucet handle was never reported to maintenance or fixed. The buffet breakfast was "nice enough", not much daily variation so after the first couple of days, it started to look a bit boring. Best to go early to avoid the crowds. Quite honestly, the hotel needs a good measure of updating or maintenance upgrades to make it more appealing.

Good location for mrt and restaurants. Clean and overall ok stay. Very basic toiletries available in room and not being able to access different levels is annoying when family are staying in other rooms. Quite dated and room not serviced every day. Great location. Friendly staff. The only issue we had was that our room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 7.00pm. We had to wait for 1.5 hours. The other 4 rooms booked for our party were ready. The room was booked in December 2024. We were given a free buffet breakfast for the inconvenience but it was disappointing after a long trip.

Overall the experience in the hotel was good, reasonably clean facilities good. Breakfast good value, but hectic in restaurant given the hotel size. Main issue, which hotel staff did address, was one of room security where a guest had been provided with a key to our room. Hotel duty mgr apologised investigated and took appropriate action, and provided compensation to our satisfaction

Problems with the lifts daily. I lot countvat the number of times i was left going up and down because my cards didn’t work. Hotel was terribly dated and not the cleanest i've stayed in. However, the breakfast excellent, shower piping hot anf the older gentleman concierge was a delight.
