This was a lovely place to stay on our stop over. The room we had was a little dated but the hotel is undertaking renovations. It was super convenient to shopping and public transport and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Worn out hotel, I was upgraded to a Studio across the complex, had to pass their dirty laundry, smell chemicsls and cleaning machines standing around between pool (very nice) and my room. Room was a duplex, clean, mattress totally worn out, bed cover etc, smelly but clean. Breakfast boring and dark

The property is great. Just seems that some of the guests are less than ideal. Noise seems to travel and people are not so considerate any more. Playing music, kids in the “quite” pool making a racket at 7.30am. Noise would be the only concern.

The hotel is mid refurbishment but there’s no mess and you are not disturbed by any noise or dirt ! The pool area is fabulous and in a country of high rise buildings this 2 storey colonial hotel is highly unusual Staff snd service excellent and nothing too much trouble Make sure you book a refurbished room Would definitely stay again

Great place to stay in Singapore

What a beautiful old hotel. All staff made us so welcome, they all said hello no matter where you met them. They gave every assistance when asked. The location is so good the next building has so many places to eat local food. A gentle 10 minute walk mostly undercover and you are ar Orchard road. Can highly recommend

Iconic hotel with excellent service

Always a great stay at this iconic hotel. Many who work there have been there for a long time & they all make you feel so welcome. Kudos to Wynn Tan who served us 2 hours after cake shop was shut . Saw that we were yearning for durian puffs so she jumped slipped round to the counter & even took drinks orders for us. That was sp special & she was thrilled to be serving us.
