Located on a private wooded island, Bart Island lodging takes beachfront property to a whole new level. This luxurious home away from home provides guests with all they need to experience their Alaska adventure. A fully-equipped kitchen and grill ensure guests can eat until their bellies say otherwise, and a private, covered hot tub atop the cabin’s wraparound deck is the perfect spot to soak in the serene ocean and mountain views.
Exposed wooden beams and natural wood framing give this cozy cottage in the woods a true wilderness feeling. Large windows presenting one-of-a-kind landscape and wildlife viewing, a wood fireplace, a game room, and high-speed Wi-Fi provide guests with the perfect excuse for nights in.
Guests who are looking for more of an outdoor Alaska experience can pick blueberries and huckleberries from the bushes that decorate the path to the cabin’s main entry. Bikes and kayaks also come free of charge with the Bart Island cabin. A private dock allows for easy ocean access for swimming, fishing, or kayaking. A quick bike ride away, downtown Sitka is only three miles from the property.
Although the main house is designed to accommodate four people, larger groups also have the option of booking an additional sleeping cottage. There are two cottages, each with two twin beds, a private bath, and a private entry. Each cottage is an additional $250 per night. The cottages are an add on to the reservation and can be added after the reservation is made.
Whether it’s adventure, relaxation, or both you’re seeking, Bart Island has all the makings for the perfect Alaska escape.
The dock is for private use, not commercial use. Paying guests can not be picked up or dropped off by charter companies nor tie their own rented boats up to the dock.
