We stayed here our first night in Iceland. Was a lovely cottage. Only issue was it was quite warm in the cottage and we opened windows to cool down and we all had bites from midges! A part of being in Iceland at this time of year. Otherwise, stay was great. Easy to find.
Quiet location ; bathrooms were small and little dirty ; the photos shown are slightly different from the actual layout of the room . Small cottage but for one night is fine

Would stay there again.
Cozy, warm cabin with a small kitchen.
Very clean. Good restaurant on-site.
Was a fairly long drive from main highway to get to the cottages.
The feeling of home. A quaint idyllic spot and a perfectly appointed cabin. Wish we had stayed here while visiting Snæfellsness peninsula. The washing machine an added bonus as was the view out of all the windows!
We stayed in cottage 4, which was significantly larger than we anticipated considering there was only two of us. This could comfortably fit 8 people, and had a full kitchen (no microwave though) - but no WiFi. However, there wasn't enough hot water for two showers in the morning - even after waiting over an hour between to try to give it time to hear back up. This caused us to leave much later than we wanted to as I was trying to avoid a cold shower before heading out for a cold day. Thankfully checkout is late, so we weren't rushed to get out in that sense.
Other than the hot water issue - I would definitely recommend this property to everyone going through the area.
Very cute and quaint hotel/cottages. The staff were all so polite! Especially the woman with the Harry Potter hat! She was so sweet!

We got in on a very windy stormy night, and were greeted by a wonderful host at the hotel. Our cottage was very comfortable and had everything one might need. The bathroom is a wet room. Skip the breakfast, and bring your own food.

Very quiet and relaxing place with amazing view. Decent space inside. Nothing much nearby so come prepared accordingly esp with regards to food. Has a grill but we didn't use it. Would have been nice if they had a microwave

Cottage is a bit outdated especially the bathroom. Hotel has a restaurant and accommodation looks more modern there. We ate at the restaurant both nights Salmon and Lamb where amazing would highly recommend 😀
We stayed one night. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. This was a good choice for our family of 3, especially since we were catching the ferry early the next day.
The property location is difficult to access from north along route 54 for very long unpaved road drive. Besides, there is no shampoo and soap for shower.

It was out of the main road, but worth it. The view from the window was amazing. Good size of the cabin. Midnight sun view was spectacular

We stayed in a small one bedroom cabin that was just what we needed. As in the photos, it was rustic and tight and very quiet. There are some fantastic views - a short jaunt up the hiking trail at the pull off between the highway and the driveway was absolutely other worldly and well worth it, even if you only have a short amount of time to spend there.
Spacious cottage, great views, well-stocked kitchen.

Loved our stay, quiet, peaceful, worked out great to utilize the kitchen. Could use Napkins! But most places in Iceland seem to be light on napkins/paper towels
