I really enjoyed staying here while in Skara. It may not be for everyone: it's a grown up version of a dorm, with rooms that have beds and a desk, a shared kitchen, and shared bathrooms. But I have to tell you: it was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was full of choices, and the coffee was fabulous. Jessica, the manager, is very responsive and totally on top of the day-to-day running of the place. There is a shared kitchen for guests on the 2nd floor, and it's well equipped, clean, and set up for shared conversations if you want them. There are a couple of shared living spaces where it's comfortable to hang out or have a tea. It's directly behind Skara Busstation which is very convenient for travel. My two teen sons and I shared one room with 4 beds, which was close quarters but not a problem. The beds are comfortable and it's surprisingly quiet for being near the bus station. This is close to everyone in the central Skara district-- 5 minutes to the cathedral and restaurants. My experience way exceeded expectations and I would stay here again.

Billigt, varmt och enkelt.

Personalen är trevlig. Parkering för bil finns tillgänglig nära hotellet och är gratis nattetid. Frukosten är ok men ingen varm mat. Bra att det finns gemensam kyl och frys där man kan förvara mat och frysa kylklampar. Det som är dåligt är att det inte finns aircondition så på varma dagar är rummet olidligt varmt. Det går inte heller att ha fönstren öppna för att kyla ner rummet på fredagar eller lördagar för då känns det som att man är på Stadshotellets dansgolv. Jag hade inte heller förstått att rummen inte hade egen dusch eller toalett, de är gemensamma i korridoren. Slutligen så är sängarna obäddade när man checkar in så man får bädda sängen själv, och dessutom ska man ta bort lakanen när man checkar ut. Priset var ju billigt och man får vad man betalar för.

Die Unterkunft war gut. Das Frühstück war ok. Leider gab es in Zimmer nur wenig Möglichkeiten Kleidung aufzuhängen. Ansonsten für 1 oder 2 Nächte völlig ausreichend.
