The breakfast wait staff were extremely problematic- they didn’t greet customers in a timely way, they ignored customers and dawdled taking orders. The breakfast itself was delicious- marred only by the experience front of house!

We loved sitting in the lobby waiting to meet up with family. And the food was delicious. But the staff was exceptional. They were very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable (I was traveling with my 91-year old mother). And she cannot wait to go back next year!

This place is made by the staff who are very friendly and lovely. It is somewhat dated but in the limited options in Skibbereen is clearly the local place to go for big events - on both days we stayed there were big family parties.

For an annual family golf trip to Skibbereen we stay at The West Cork Hotel. It’s clean, staff are friendly and it’s in a good location. It’s also reasonably priced. Breakfast is good too.

Weekend stay

We had a lovely time. Hotel was clean, surprisingly quiet and relaxing. The staff were marvellous Dinner at restaurant was very good as was the breakfast. Hotel could do with modernisation but I would happily return to stay there again
