The cottage is a self-contained annexe to the main house and has its own entrance to which you enter the living room, this is a very comfortable, cosy area with a wood burner to snuggle up in front of on those chilly evenings. On the same floor you have a well presented, well-equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs along with a dining table which is ideal to have breakfast at and fuel up for the day’s adventures. On the first floor you have the large bedroom which offers a plush king-sized bed and fantastic views of the countryside, a great way to wake up to on a morning. On the same floor you also have the bathroom which boasts a gorgeous walk-in shower, bath and heated towel rail again giving stunning views of the surrounding area.
Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this a perfect retreat for walkers, cyclists and ramblers, with plenty of walks, cycle paths, bridleways and established footpaths into picturesque countryside. The charming market town of Skipton is only 10 minutes away, which is home to an ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market. Haworth village, once home to the Brontë Sisters, is another major tourist attraction in the area and can be reached in around a 30-minute drive. Nearby you will find the picturesque spa town of Ilkley with an abundance of restaurants, pubs, pavement cafés and independent shops that can all be easily reached as can legendary Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms where afternoon tea is a must. Bolton Abbey can be reached in around a 20-minute drive and offers 30,000 acres of beautiful countryside to explore.
