Was alright. Room proportions to furniture felt off. 3 flashing fire alarms in one room didnât help me settle. Staff were lovely though. Guy on the bar was amazing. Spa and pool were lovely. Breakfast was ok. Sausage was nice but the bacon wasnât. I liked the site. Just fell a bit short of the mark. Really hope they take this review constructively. Couldâve been amazing with a few tweaks. Couldnât get food on site as it was too busy but also no option to get some room service.

Cosy hotel
Great, cosy hotel. Very welcoming staff and amazing food. Overall our stay was lovely. We just thought the food was slightly overpriced, but none the less delicious. Would definitely recommend and the use of the pool / spa literally a few steps from the hotel was an added bonus.
Stayed overnight after visiting Yarndale Show in Skipton. This was in a lovely private park, gorgeous environment and setting. Food and drink was fabulous.
Had a great stay. Had a small problem with the room which was sorted quickly by the manager. Had an evening meal, was a great menu choice and food was really good and reasonably priced. All staff friendly and helpful. Hotel in a good location for walking and not too far from Grassington. Will definitely be back.
Gamekeepers in was a lovely stay near Skipton. I was suprised at how far it was from town so if you don't have a rental car or transportation of your own you might want to take note of the distance from town. We could not get an Uber back to town to catch our train the next morning because no one would pick it up due to distance. We were fortunate that our taxi driver from the night before gave us his card so we were able to get a driver to come get us and take us back to town. Aside from that the location is awesome and the staff was very helpful and nice!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is perfect except the sofa bed is a bit too small and not so comfortable. The toilet is clean and the room is spacious. Lovely to the leisure centre which is really nice and clean.
Hearts sank a little as we realised this hotel was in the middle of a holiday village, but we had nothing to worry about. There a few locals drinking in the bar which is not massive and does seem to get busy at certain times but the welcome was friendly. All staff we encountered were friendly, cheerful and very helpful - i had reserved a table online via the hotelâs own website but it hadnât been processed. Staff sorted it quickly. The restaurant was pleasant and had a relaxed atmosphere despite how busy it was it never felt crowded or noisy. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, the quality of the wine selection is good and the food was excellent both on the evening and the next day for breakfast.
Very good really relaxing the Pool & Spar area is excellent gamekeepers inn restaurant was very good and catered to my wife's needs but very disappointed with PIE NIGHT Minted Lamb pie with red wine gravy Mash or Chips looked good until i lifted off the top MINCED something did not even taste like Lamb and chef must have put the Redwine gravy on with a brush(avoid) Breakfast very good 10/10 all round
