Overall it was great. Some better instructions for entering the unit would be helpful and maybe a drawing of the building to show the toe path, etc. Once we figured it out, it was fine, but a little confusing and frustrating initially.
Lovely location and really appreciated being able to walk along the canal into Skipton. Thoughtful equipment provided meant that cooking for a family was easy. Even shopping bags were provided. Fortunately we took our own slippers (no outdoor shoe rule in the house) as there were none provided - this didn't inconvenience us at all but it may be something to note for anyone relying on there being some provided as stated in the description.
We really enjoyed our stay - there's so much to do and see close by, not just the castle (highly recommended). Hire of a narrow boat was also a highlight.
For those of us with a previous back injury the double bed was too soft & the garage parking space navigation was tricky with a roof box (we have a tallish car) but other than that everything was delightful - tasteful decoration, plenty of cleaning equipment, teabags etc. & a helpful welcome pack for places to eat etc. Also neighbours encountered were very friendly (good when you arrive in teeming rain and need to work out how to get into the garage).
All in all, a great place to stay.
