Villa Green on Blue - peaceful rural location with panoramic sea & forest views

The gated tree lined drive leads up to the large parking space adjacent to the villa and its only a few steps across one of the many terraces to the front door. Inside is a large open plan living/ dining room with the large kitchen divided out by a breakfast bar. There are also double opening doors onto a terrace for alfresco dining.The 2 downstairs bedrooms ,which both have french window out to a large balcony, and bathroom are accessed by a corridor through a mirrored door.
Upstairs was designed as a master suite with bedroom bathroom and lounge area with large terraces on either side. This second sitting room now also has the possibility of being a 4th bedroom .
Outside the house is surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees with a number of feature palm trees which are often mirrored in the water of the large tiled swimming pool .Umbrellas ,sun beds and tables and chairs are placed on the large terraces to enjoy the weather and enable a choice of sun or shade depending on the temperature.
Although being a kilometre from the nearest habitation the villa is actually only 2 kilometres from the hill town of Glossa with its shops and tavernas and the same distance from the nearest beach.This ideal mix of privacy and access is difficult to find but here between town and beach Villa Green and Blue provides the perfect spot for a relaxed holiday in the sun on Skopelos.

The outside speaks for itself. It’s stunning. The ocean and hill views an amazing way to start the day and end the day. You hear nature whilst sitting at the pool wonderful for the soul!!

Peaceful perfect stay.

Everything about our stay was relaxed, easy and enjoyable. The pool area was a big draw for us as it is larger than most we viewed, perfect for our teenagers to splash around and get in laps. The grounds are extensive and the property is spacious, meaning there was plenty of space to relax and either socialise or have a quiet moment. The interior is simple and clean. When we had a problem with air con in one room it was addressed and fixed quickly. Overall it met all our expectations and gave us what we love about Greek islands, smells, sounds and tranquility.

Wow just fantastic!

This has been an amazing place to stay for location and facilities. The pool is beautiful and the views breathtaking. Eleni, the housekeeper spoke fantastic English and couldn’t have been more helpful. Air conditioning was super and we were grateful for it as the weather was very hot during our stay. House was well appointed. You do need a car and boat hire from Neo Klima was one of our highlights. The Mamma Mia chapel is worth a climb at sunrise when there is no one there and the skies are stunning.

Beautiful pool and outside area but the house is not well maintained

The pool was amazing as was the garden but the house is rather neglected with lots of things broken, dirty or not working. Such a pity as it would use just a few repairs and some maintenance (the kettle does not boil the water, mosquito nets are broken or missing in some rooms, terrace door does not close so the house is technically always accessible, the kitchen was not properly cleaned etc.). The views are incredible but you really do need a car to get anywhere from the house.

Magical Week

We have just returned from a magical week at Villa Green on Blue with our family of 4. The highlight for us was the swimming pool and outdoor space, but hopefully those looking at this villa will appreciate a more detailed review so happy to give a bit more information: Outdoor space – perfect, the pool was the best we have ever had, long, wide, very clean and perfectly positioned. The villa occupies quite a large space with fig, almond and plum trees. To the back of the house you have a great view of the sea, and we spent a few nights there doing some star gazing, with no light pollution the night sky was stunning. Location – a mile or so from the village of Glossa, quite an imposing position on the road out to Agois Ioaniss (Mamma Mia Church). Very quiet and very private. Glossa has a small number of nice restaurants, we walked down each evening (25 mins) and got a taxi back (10 Euros). There is also a fine bakers in the village where they do home cooked meals you can take away. The port of Loutraki, with 3 or 4 additional restaurants is a 15 Euro taxi ride away. Indoor Space – lots of space and really good air conditioning. The house is showing a little bit of wear and tear to be honest, mattresses were a little firm for our liking, but nothing to worry about really, and the outside was so beautiful that’s where we spent all our time. We had a very small problem with the plumbing one day and the owners were very responsive and had a plumber out within an hour.

Merveilleux

Cette Maison offre bien plus au bout de quelques jours qu'au premier regard. Elle est spacieuse, propre et tres fonctionnelle. La piscine est tres grande et tres propre. Les abords de la pisicne tres bien équipés.Le Barbecue est tres sécurisé. La vue est époustouflante. Les commerces sont à 7 min de voiture ainsi que le petit village de Glossa tres tres charmant. A 40 petites minutes de la ville de Skopelos. Vous avez le choix de plages exceptionelles entre 10 et 30 minutes de la maison et vous pouvez en changer tous les jours.Egalement de tres beaux monasteres et points de vue a decouvrir. Tres bonne reactivité de Ellen qui s'est occupé de nous accueillir et qui a gere quelques petits soucis logistiques. Nous esperons revenir un jour.

Perfect holiday house in prime location

The location of the house is fabulous, just a few kilometers from Glossa, very quiet with beautiful sea views! It has a very nice pool which can also be illuminated at night, just beautiful. The house itself is very spacious and offers everything you might possibly need. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to return. The caretaker is extremely friendly and the whole procedure has been very smooth, thank you very much!!!

Gorgeous villa in tranquil setting

We had a fantastic time in this lovely, peaceful, well-equipped villa. The swimming pool is large and exceptionally clean, the views from the balconies stunning. Birds of prey soar overhead (Eleanora's Falcons and Short-Toed Eagles were spotted) and at night the skies are dark enough for the Milky Way to be clearly visible. Skopelos is a beautiful, forested island with many lovely beaches only a short drive away. The nearest small town, Glossa, is close by and has good restaurants. All-in-all a delightful place to stay.

Lovely villa in a beautiful location

We stayed for a week in August 2018. It's a great villa with a lovely swimming pool. The owners and owners niece Anthoula were really helpful, they helped us get out ferry tickets when they had sold out online. Anthoula met us at the port and was really friendly and showed us to the villa. The villa is close to a supermarket a delicious Souvlaki stand and a bakery. Further into Glossa and in Loutraki there are some really lovely restaurants with beautiful views of the sea. It possibly would be a walkable distance into Glossa, however we had 2 small children and the roads are narrow and fairly busy. The drive down to the Mamma Mia church is well worth it, such a beautiful site, and not far down the very windy road. The villa itself was clean and spacious, there are quite a lot of wasps around, but if you don't panic they won't sting you!

The house is wonderful. If you want to be in relax and peace this is the right location. Very close to village of Glosa and very close to Agios Ioanis beach and Mama mia church. The swimming pool is perfect with big size and perfect to relax in the afternoon hours. We would like to come here again.

Comfortable villa in a beautiful part of Skopelos

The lovely pool is an added bonus, along with lower and upper terraces to survey the surrounding sea, landscape and sunsets. Everything inside is in good shape - nice beds and linen. We would recommend the place with all our hearts and the owner Gerasimos is very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for this lovely week.

Beautiful home on a beautiful island

The home is very well maintained and a pleasure to stay in. We spent a month and never regretted our decision to book this home. It's located a short drive from Glossa, so it's very private but close if you need anything. Many beautiful, secluded beaches nearby and a fantastic pool for the days you want to stay in. Local property manager and the owner were both fantastic to deal with and responded right away to any questions we had.

Wonderful villa and great location

This is a very spacious villa with beautiful views. It is very well equipped and has plenty of space. The pool is fantastic. We had a superb holiday and are already planning on returning to this villa. The location is also great, close to Glossa for yummy tavernas, a well stocked supermarket and wonderful bakery. Gerasimos was very helpful and Skopelos is a beautiful island with very friendly people.
