Our stay was stressful from start to finish. Hours before check-in, the host asked for passport details for all guests, refused entry, and asked for them via WhatsApp — unprofessional and insecure. I requested a secure way to send and they said to send via email instead. Despite the listing showing the same rate for up to nine guests, I was being asked to pay extra for an eighth guest. Check-in instructions came only 30 minutes before arrival after asking several times and the property had many issues: broken chairs, stained furniture, foul-smelling garbage, toilets that barely worked, and an overgrown lawn. Some problems were fixed the next day, but they should have been addressed before our arrival. The house was uncomfortably hot, the showers dangerously hot and never repaired, and the washing machine unusable. Bedrooms were clean, but most curtains were broken. Overall, poor communication, lack of preparation, and unprofessional handling of problems make this property one I would not recommend.
