Secret Garden by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful countryside of Smiths Creek, just a short 19-minute drive from the vibrant town of Murwillumbah. From this tiny home, you can easily venture to the nearby coastal gems of Pottsville, celebrated for its beautiful beachside parks, and Hastings Point, affectionately known as the “Jewel of the Tweed” for its breathtaking natural scenery.

Explore this enchanting region, where tranquility meets coastal charm! Plus, our holiday home is only 44 minutes from the iconic Byron Bay, with activities like Whale watching Byron Bay and the nearest accommodation in Byron Bay.

This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is nestled in a garden, complete with a charming creek that flows through it, creating an enchanting and relaxing experience in nature. All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the two private dwellings on the property. We kindly ask everyone to respect each other's privacy and keep noise levels down after dark.

By public transport:

Please be advised that this is a rural area, and public transportation is not available. We recommend guests travel by private vehicle for easy travel to our tiny home and other nearby attractions. However, if you're coming from the city like Sydney, follow these steps:

By Bus:

- Take a bus from Sydney to Murwillumbah (several services available).
- From Murwillumbah, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare to reach Smiths Creek. Always remember to check bus schedules, roads, and stops.

By Train:

- Take a train from Sydney to Casino.
- From Casino, you can take a bus or taxi to Smiths Creek. Always remember to check bus schedules, roads, and stops.

By plane :

There are no direct flights from Sydney to Smiths Creek, as it doesn't have an airport. The nearest airport is in Coolangatta (Gold Coast), about 45 minutes away. You can fly from Sydney to Coolangatta, then rent a car or take a taxi to Smiths Creek.

- Outdoor fire pit is available. Firewood is provided for free
- High-speed Wi-Fi is available
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- Pets are allowed by prior notice
- We have tap water in the tiny house
- Expect farm animals on the property
- No uninvited guests or visitors allowed
- Mobile phone reception has weak signals
- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times
- No smoking inside the tiny home. Please smoke outside.
- We kindly ask guests to dispose of cigarette butts properly
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
