We could see the ocean, but all beach access was restricted from the recent storm that happened a week ago. No one communicated with us regarding the pools and beach access being closed, despite knowing this for the week. Hotels.com gave us the wrong unit number; the property management company wasn’t open to help us when we arrived; the property management company blamed the HOA for not telling them about the storm damage and restricted amenities; and no one wants to take responsibility for any of this. We had a decent time, but missed out on a lot because of the storm damage. I would suggest in the future there be better communication with guests when this type of thing happens.
