Located on North Topsail Beach, within the scenic Topsail Island in North Carolina, Seabee Surf offers a beachfront getaway. This property features five bedrooms and four bathrooms, providing a comfortable stay for up to 18 guests. It is pet-friendly, allowing up to four dogs for a non-refundable pet fee. The sleeping arrangements consist of one King-size bed, four Queen-size beds, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, a triple bunk bed with sizes queen, twin, and full, plus a twin lounge chair and a roomy twin rollaway bed. Amenities include six televisions, Wi-Fi, an elevator that serves all floors, a game room, and plenty of outdoor seating on three decks facing the ocean. For those with electric vehicles, a 240 NEMA charging outlet is available in the carport. An extension to the deck off the main living area was completed in 2024 to include a hot tub and an outdoor dining setup. Starting in 2025, the property will feature some new beds, mattresses, and a renovated kitchen.

Family vacation 2023 July 1-8 Our stay at the SeaBee Surf Oceanside was nothing less than eventful! We had a beautiful family vacation with amazing oceanfront access and a great view to wake up to. But man did we have some surprises we made a little game out of our rent free guests! A final count of 17 American cockroaches varying from all sizes! (See attached photos), we utilized the pullout couch in the living room and as they were getting their bed made and ready for the night roaches were flying out of it, needless to say that was the end of anyone sleeping on it or even wanting to sit on it! it got so bad we had to request a bug and pest control and the kind man told us “wow, you all are staying in an infestation!” Then we were taken over by these tiny little ants in the kitchen all over the counters. The SeaBee Surf has a delightful aroma in the kitchen to wake up to, the mini fridge area has the most putrid smell it will make your stomach turn, not sure if something died behind it or in it but we weren’t finding out! (See attached photo with that horrifying bug in the bottom) We made purchases of shower curtain liners due to the mold and mildew they were covered in, baking soda for the kitchen, and even did a little dusting for the owners from all the dust caked up on the returns and living space. Topsail is a beautiful place, and if you go with the right group you can stay in the roach motel and still have a good time! Pictures available upon request.

The house was a joy to stay in!! The decor made being at the beach even nicer.There was plenty of space for everyone to get off on their own,if they wanted to. We didn't have a person unable to climb the stairs , this time but being able to bring all the luggage and groceries up on the elevator was a dream. I'm 69, so I very much appreciated it. The young people and the young at heart loved the game room! Such a great addition! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever rented. We have some cooks in the family, who brought some cooking items just encase. But you had it all!! Everyone was pleasantly surprised. We have been renting on Topsail Island about 50 years. It was one if the best houses we've stayed in. The upper room was like being in a tree house, so relaxing. Jason, we appreciated all your efforts to make our stay so wonderful.

Beautiful location

Started off rocky as I contacted the number provided 3 times over two weeks as I did not receive a receipt after I paid online and could not access the system they wanted me to in order to do so. I’m kind of tech savvy so was a bit concerned. One response after the third time saying “we have support staff to take care of that” but never heard from anyone. I also wanted to add an extra day (available) so I ended up googling the new sales Dept and was able to finally get some one to help me. Made me a little anxious, esp with 2 reviews online, one wasn’t great. A/C tech was at the house/our unit as we drove by to check in. Another concern. The A/C system, although new, was not user friendly. It was set by the tech (had to call again and they came right out) to 72 upstairs in master, cannot be changed/which is too hot to sleep and ceiling fan did not work. We went out and bought a battery for the remote after 2 hot nights. We too have an electronic/preset scheduled unit at home, was challenged by this one. The place looked beautiful upon entering. Views are stunning and you won’t find a better location. There were cigarette butts around the grill area, just a few, but there, and used matches on middle deck. Yes, duplex neighbors trash was blown into our area as with the last renter’s review. The interior of the kitchen drawers and cabinets need to be cleaned. The master bath drawers were white, but with hair in them/unusable. A 2 inch roach was in the master bedroom the last 2 nights, husband finally killed it. Hate to even mention it but it happened. Only one we saw. The beautiful refrigerator smelled like fish BAD. It was sparkly clean, except for the clearly visible brown fish juice left under the glass which clearly causing the smell, the new box of Arm and Hammer in it wasn’t enough. The nicest man in the world came right out and cleaned it. Unfortunately the ice smelled too so no ice. Yes, this is a “tough” review but all of these things could have easily been taken care of before our arrival. I would give this place one more shot because of the location and prompt service when you do ask for anything. One more thing, I was very surprised that as part of the check out cleaning process renters need to do make all of beds (sleeps 15) before they leave. But give this place a chance, it’s beautiful views are stunning and it’s upgraded interiors are lovely. We had a great time. Love the area.

Great Property, poor execution

House had a great floor plan and location. However, the A/C did not work on the upper 2 floors and the property management office told us there was nothing they could do for us. When trying to fix it ourselves, noticed filters were filthy and did not appear to have been replaced in a long time. Temperature in the house was in the upper 70's. Grill was filthy and broken and no propane. No screens on the windows which was particularly inconvenient due to the lack of A/C. Sofa had numerous stains as did one chair. Front of house had mold/mildew. Barware was mismatched. On the plus side, the interior was clean, views and proximity to the beach were excellent.

Classic heavy rental unit. The good: Location is pretty good on North Topsail Beach and this two unit duplex is on the beach. The inside is pretty nice and it has everything you need. The pet friendly option is excellent and there are no signs of an pet usage so everyone must do a great job of making sure their pet has zero impact. The management company communication was good via text. On the down side... the unit needs better care on the outside and grounds. There was 10 pounds of sand in the outside shower. The hose is just thrown into a corner. There are beer cans and trash around the unit which certainly could come from adjacent units but no one is maintaining the ground on a regular basis. Also the bed comforters need to be cleaned which is a common issue for rental units. Overall a solid average rating with some positive areas and some areas that need improvement.
