Get away from the city and come to the mountains to rest, unwind, regroup with friends and family. This new home near Chattanooga, TN accommodates 10 guests of all ages, with a ramp entrance and a curb less shower on main floor for any handicap guest. The game room in the basement area includes air hockey, foosball table, elliptical machine, large TV for movie night, board games, and a card table. This 3-level home has an open concept for family and friends, full kitchen with new amenities, and a grill on a wraparound deck that overlooks 3 acres of outdoor space including campfire pit, camp site, picnic area, soccer, horseshoes, baseball, volleyball & cornhole games as you step outside the lower living space. This cabin is pet friendly with crate, pet beds and portable electric fence if needed. We are located on Mowbray Mountain, Soddy Daisy TN - only 28 miles north of Chattanooga, Tn. Why this Cabin? : We all know there's a big difference between being NEAR the beach or ski hill and being ON the beach or ski hill. This new cabin is ON the Cumberland Trail with a lifetime of outdoor adventure walkable from the back door and is where you want to be for outdoor activity. From the adjacent Deep Creek trailhead, you can explore the Deep Creek and Big Soddy rock climbing areas and the continuous 30-mile section of the beautiful Three Gorges section of the Cumberland Trail offering hiking, swimming, fishing, and trail running. Additional outings include nearby hand gliding, bouldering at the Cumberland Boulders and Stone Fort located within 2 miles of the cabin and all of the family friendly activities offered in nearby Chattanooga located only 25 minutes from cabin.

This was a beautiful home with more than enough room for a big group. The basement had an entire second living space that could accommodate the whole family. We appreciated all of the little things that were provided like the condiments, recycling services, and gaming area. The kids loved the playroom and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. The host was so accomodating and welcoming and quick to respond to messages. All the little touches in the home made it a very special place to stay. Thank you for sharing such a lovely space with us!

This is our top VRBO. The host was amazing from her welcome note, to the thoughtful amenities, and beautiful home. Everyone was outside playing horseshoes, swinging in the tree swing, playing Frisbee golf, walking the nearby trails. There was so much to do outside. The inside was clean and was the best stocked kitchen in any place we have stayed in staying in VRBO for over 10 years. The table sat 10 people, and we played family games for hours. My grandsons were so excited to have a campfire. The host had even set up the fire pit ready to go. Everyone agreed we need to stay here again.Thanks, Theresa for making our stay so wonderful!

Well stocked home with everything you could imagine available. The playroom was a huge hit with my daughter and nephew, and the property had plenty to keep us entertained for a low key Christmas with family. From the moment I walked through the front door until the moment I closed it behind me on the day of check-out, I felt like I was HOME but without all the responsibilities. The house was well-stocked, and the host didn't miss a beat on any of the personal touches. We needn't bring anything but our own clothes, toothbrush, and a smile. The stay was comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely return! In fact, one of my fellow guests suggested we make it an annual vacation.

Theresa is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house was clean and full of natural light. The view from the back deck was beautiful: a perfect place to be lazy and enjoy the quiet and sights of nature. We loved every minute we spent here. If you want to walk the neighborhood (the roads make for nice paths), wear good shoes so the gravel doesn't hurt your feet.

More than we ever expected

Do you remember Stefon from SNL? He would go on Weekend Update and declare, "this place has everything..." Well, Stefon needs to head down to Soddy-Daisy and share his review of this house because it truly has everything. It has ALL the lawn games. It has a terrific hot tub. It has a stunning kitchen. It has multiple excellent bathrooms. It has a superb porch. We were blown away by the items in and around the house that most vacation rental places lack. The filtered water dispenser, for one. Not many places are that concerned with something like that. We were impressed by the kids room that is dedicated to making sure kids have a place to play. I loved the special trail down to the swimming hole about a mile below the house. If you love adventure and you also appreciate little touches, this is the place for you.

Multiple generation vacation

Lots of space for a large group and has lots of stuff you need for toddlers and little kids. Less stuff we had to bring with us like high chairs, pack n play, toys. Big yard with outdoor toys and activities and space to run around.Creeks, lake and trails all close by and we had a blast.The host was great. Open communication for anything we needed or questions we had.Great experience and we plan to book again in the future

This was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Mgmt was great and very communicative. They really had everything we needed and the house was clean and organized. Perfect place for families that have someone with mobility issues. 25 minute ride to Chattanooga was super easy. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing property and host!

Theresa was helpful and responsive from the beginning, before during and after our stay. The house was amazing. There was plenty to do there without ever leaving! The home was beautiful, accessible for an 85 y/o in a wheelchair and her daughter with MS that uses a walker. Perfect place for families!

Beautiful home for a large group in a peaceful community

This very spacious home was the perfect girls weekend getaway for 10 women. The home is FULLY stocked from kitchen to bathrooms to outdoor fun - the only thing we needed to bring was food and drinks. Theresa provided spot on directions to the house as well as easy entry and even has gone the extra touch providing fresh flowers and a reliable wifi throughout with a home networking mesh system. The backyard toys, hot tub, firepit, bird feeders, corn and hummingbird feeder made for a relaxing atmosphere and added bonus were the visits from all the wildlife. We saw only 3 cars the entire weekend! The location is perfect for hiking with the Cumberland Trail literally at the edge of the property and several trails very close by. With only a short drive to Chattanooga, you get the best of both - experience the touristy sites and peacefulness of the TN country life. We highly recommend this home for families and groups.

Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. The house is beautiful inside with plenty of natural light and space for all ages! What a great few days in the Tennessee mountains! The cabin was awesome. The host Theresa was even better! Everything you can imagine you would need an Vrbo was there and then some! Would definitely come back to this property again and highly recommend it! Thanks again for your hospitality Theresa

Quick weekend between camps

I wish we had more time! Family of four, and two fur kids, decided on this home as our stop between sleep away camps. WOW! We’ve stayed in a fair number of homes, and this one exceeds all expectations. From the owners availability to its proximity to outdoor fun, not to mention the serene surroundings-#1! Also, you won’t need for anything. Theresa has it covered! Head to Big Soddy Gulf, 8 min down the road. So fun! Super clean, very comfortable, games, more kitchenware than expected, chocolates on arrival, actually sharp knives, beds/pillows/linens lovely, no complaints!

AMAZING!

This property had everything we needed! Theresa was so kind and thoughtful! It was super clean and had everything we needed for our family. Our grandson LOVED the toy room! I highly recommend it!
