This very comfortable, and well maintained stone built Casita (cottage) has everything you would need for the perfect getaway.

The property boasts a private salt water swimming pool on a terrace that enjoys spectacular and panoramic views of the Tramuntana monuntains and the Sóller valley.

The property has air-conditioning throughout.The bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed (160x200). The kitchen is well equipped (dishwasher, fan oven, microwave, Nespresso maker etc.) ideal for romantic meals at home either inside at the dining area, or outside on the terrace.

A charming stone terrace just in front of the casita is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the Mallorcean morning sun. There is a bright sitting room with a large & comfortable L-shaped sofa & 50 inch TV.

There is hot & cold air conditioning in this open-plan room too and a wood burning stove for the cooler months. There is a washing machine room to the side of the house and ample space behind the house to dry clothes.

The view from the property is astounding, making it the ideal location for couples wanting to get away from it all in complete privacy.

The property has all the necessary services for you to enjoy your holiday as if you were at home. Each booking is handled personally with attention to detail.

The property offers an ideal and popular location, between September through to Spring, for walkers and cyclists. Many walks are right on your doorstep!

There is a large sunbathing area with sun loungers to enjoy the views, peace and tranquility.

The garden and grounds are maintained regularly.

A charcoal BBQ available to you on the front terrace.

The roads in Sóller are very narrow and at times challenging, and the access to the casita is no different. We highly recommend that you hire a very small car. The perfect car is a Fiat 500 or equivalent.

Five Nights in Soller

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is small and basic, but the setting and views are beautiful. The cottage was as it seems on the website, and our communication with property management was good. We were forewarned about the drive up to the cottage from the main road in Soller. Not for the feint of heart (or anyone with a larger rental car). You can walk in to the heart of Soller very easily although the return walk up a steep narrow road is not for the unfit. One suggestion: the property's furnishings are tired and could use a little refreshing. For this price point, one expects a little more. Everything is Ikea, with a lot of chips, scratches and wear. The furniture is well worn, and the couch looks like it should be set to the road for pickup. My bath towel had a hole in it. Grill but no charcoal. No dish soap. Small points perhaps, but easily remedied and the difference between good and great. Oh, and you get a bonus cat. Scruffy is an outdoor cat and very friendly.

Fourth time at this delightful Casita

We’re lucky enough to travel quite extensively, and we find ourselves back at this delightful Casita for the fourth time. In itself that should be recommendation enough, but in summary the combination of location (both the casita and Sòller) and charming and welcoming hosts make this a repeat for us. There is also the most delightful cat who attends - she seems to get more affectionate by the year and yearns for the attention!

Beautiful Casita

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the casita. Marcus was the perfect host - extremely communicative and full of helpful recommendations. The casita is perfectly situated, about a 10 minute walk outside the centre of Soller with incredible views of the town and the mountains. The pool area is very private and is ideal for relaxing. The casita itself is very well equipped and even nicer than the pictures. Outdoor cat Scruffy was an added bonus! If you are looking for a place in Soller then I would not hesitate to recommend Marcus and Tiffany’s place. We would love to return!

A Wonderful Location

We really enjoyed our stay in Soller, particularly the views in the evening. It was a good base from which to explore all parts of the island. Our host, Marcus was very responsive to any questions we had, and we returned feeling relaxed and looking forward to returning to Soller in the future.

Great Stay

The property was lovely, well maintained, clean and just perfect for our long weekend getaway. We were glad we hired a smaller car for the drive from the main road (had been advised to by the owner of the property) but the walk down to Soller was easy (slightly harder going back up but not a problem). Great restaurant recommendations from the owner too. Would return & would highly recommend.

Paradise

This is a perfect place for a paradise get away. It was nice to be away from the summer crowds yet so easy to get everywhere. It’s easy to park your house at the car with an easy walk to Soller and public transportation. Great communication from Marcus. The home is spacious yet cozy, quiet and the outdoor views are spectacular! I would definitely stay here again!

Casita Magnífica

We spent three weeks in the casita and feel well qualified to give this a five star review. Cozy and comfortable home with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of privacy and sunshine. Marcus and Tiffany live just up the hill and were always available for local advice. We navigated the hill Just fine in our Fiat 500. We loved the town of Sóller and the access to hiking trails. Great location.

Wonderful Property

We loved staying here! This property is charming and comfortable and its location is stellar. The stone house is well designed, cozy, and has a nice open floor plan. The bed and couch are very comfortable. The large outdoor space is lovely, especially given that the property has a gorgeous view of the Sóller valley and mountains above it. We opted to park at the bottom of the very steep, windy, and narrow road, but enjoyed the slight extra walk as we made our way to and from town each day. We found the walk to town very quick. We loved that there was an outdoor cat - Scruffy - who stopped by to say hi from time to time. Marcus was a great host - very helpful, and went above and beyond to aid us. He is also an excellent responsive communicator. I think it may be helpful to mention that the house has non-potable water and that the hot water does not last if you need to take a particularly long shower. The short road up to the house, as mentioned, is very difficult to drive. However, in my opinion, these small inconveniences are just something to be aware of and should not dissuade anyone from staying at this wonderful home.

Wonderful stay in Soller

The house was great. The pool was wonderful to come back to each afternoon for our siestas. The views are truly outstanding. The house comes with a little cat called scruffy too which is a lovely little addition. Marcus gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. The only thing we would say- and this apparently is a thing in all of Spain- but when you rent a house you are not supplied with things like toilet paper, hand soap etc. Not a major concern but just good for people to know before they get there. Would highly recommend this place- it was a wonderful way to end our 6 week holiday.

Truly wonderful - will be back

The casita is a real gem, full of rustic charm and very comfortable with plenty of space for two people to spread out. I’m one of those funny guys who takes his pillow on holiday so that probably gives you an idea of how picky I am about my bed! The bed is extremely comfortable and perfect size for two guys. As was the sofa. The tv has every channel you could ask for but we didn’t really use it as the view from the terrace or pool deck is too amazing. The pool is wonderful, with a breathtaking view of the Soller valley. Around 4pm the huge palm tree shades one end which in August is perfect for sitting in the Roman steps reading you book and hiding from the strong sun. I exercised in it every day for 1.5hrs, admittedly I swam diagonal as it’s not huge but it is very much big enough for a 5’11” guy to get my strokes in. The casita is a 10 minute walk to Soller and a 45 min walk to the port. However it is only a couple of mins to the main road for buses and taxis, or walk to the square and get the tram to the beach if you can tear yourself away from the pool. Please listen to Marcus and rent the smallest car you can do. The narrow road up to the casita is not for large cars and there is one bend I found a little frightening but you get used to it. However when we return (and we definitely will) I might not bother with a car as it’s so well served by public transport. But it is a steep hill up to the casita but that just helps burn off the excesses of holiday. Marcus and Tiffany are marvellous hosts. We booked pre pandemic (over two years ago) and have messed around with our booking so many times we doubted we’d ever make it. They were so accommodating and reasonable each time and made it as stressless as possible. They were on hand for my daft questions (the oven is gas if like me you’re wondering why it’s hot heating 30 minutes after turning it on) and incredibly respectful of our privacy. In these uncertain times it really matters who you’re renting off, and I cannot recommend Marcus and Tiffany enough. And then there’s the cat - she’s adorable and played substitute for our Lab back home. Finally, Soller - it’s such an amazing old town, full of delightful buildings and history.

Wonderful Casita nestled in the mountains of Sóller! Perfect location! Marcus the host is great and helpful! I highly recommend this stay. It’s suggested that you rent a small car to ascend the driveway up! It’s steep and narrow!

An autumn break in Soller

After a warm, dry sunny week in Casita Tranquilidad we are not looking forward to our return to British weather. The house is well equipped, cosy and perfect for two. The recommendation of a small car is spot on as the lane up from the main road is narrow, steep and twisty. Marcus’s communication through the process from booking initially to departure was fantastic. And the views from the terrace, either over coffee in the morning to a glass of wine in the evening are simply stunning and worth the drive up. Watching the changing colours of the Tramuntana mountains is not to be missed!

Brilliant little house on the hill.

Great location 10mins walk into Soller. Having a lovely private pool was perfect. Marcus was a brilliant and accessible host. Well equipped with both sitting and bedroom air conditioning, and a great kitchen. The drive up the hill is a challenge first time but easily mastered! Do get a small car though as Marcus suggests! Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely come back if returning to Soller.

A very private and cosy Finca overlooking the Soller valley. Just 1 km from Soller town centre. An ideal get away from all the bustle location. Very comfy and well equipped. The view from the pool sun deck is stunning.

Great view, but could use some improvements

The house is situated in such a way that it has spectacular views of Soller valley. This is the major selling point. After that, everything else has notable ups and downs. For the price, I think we would try elsewhere during our next visit to Mallorca. Pros: view of mountains, gas grill, updated kitchen, washer, pool (if clean) Cons: narrow uphill drive, furniture needs updating, couch smells like old socks, no real extras (toilet paper, coffee, soap, shampoo, etc.), communication could be improved (just generally felt like we were unwanted and spoken to like children many times). Wanted to love it, but in the end felt like we paid too much for the experience.

Superb in all aspects

This accomodation on the hillside overlooking Soller is comfortable, clean, charming, and has a spectacular view over the valley and down to the village of Soller. The narrow roadway leading to the cottage is a challenge but after a few runs you get the hang of it. Rent a very small car and if possible arrange to meet Marcus at the bottom of the hill for some pointers. It is a short walk into Soller, downhill, and a good workout walking back up. Soller is in our opinion the best village on Mallorca. For trips into Palma we recommend taking the bus, which stops at the foot of the hill. Marcus is most responsive and check in and out is straightforward.

Amazing view

I was an amazing view of the Soller valley and a very functional property. Everything works well and it was perfect for two people. We were walking in the daytime and it was easy with short distance two walking routes and to the center of Soller for dinning. We really appreciate the gas-grill - an easy option for dinner too. We only had a short stay and did not use all the possibilities. In the summer, the pool must be lovely. We enjoyed having breakfast outside on the little terrace enjoying the view together with the cat! Thank you to Marcus for helping us buying breakfast and welcoming us late in the evening. We can recommend this property.

Loved the location - stunning views and great outdoor areas. Casita was cosy.

We spent a lot of time looking for somewhere relaxing and with some relative privacy. Casita Tranquilidad certainly offers this if you don't mind the comings and goings of the locals , braying donkeys, goats and the tooting of the tourist trains The cottage was ideal for two. The advice to only rent a small car was spot on as the drive up to the cottage is a test of driving skill and judgement. This was one of many considerate bits of advice from the owner Marcus who is on hand should you need anything. The Casita offers beautiful views across Soller and the surrounding Tranmuntana Mountain range enjoyed from either in front of the Casita or from the terrace around the pool. The Casita is homely, cosy and offers everything that you may need for a week's stay or longer. The centre of Soller is about a km away with a good atmosphere, lots of bars and restaurants (those off the main square are better than those on it). You need to be aware that it is a fairly steep walk back up to the Casita and you need a torch after dark as there is no lighting up to the cottage from the main road.
