Nice, clean room. Beautiful lake and area off rear of the property. We thought when we booked we would have a "lake view" but we wound up with a view of the parking lot. TV did not work properly. Clock/alarm on bedside stand did not work. No one at desk when we arrived for check-in but there was a sign directing us to the lounge for check-in. We were only there for one night....I would consider staying again if in the area but remember to ask specifically for a lake-view room and keep in mind the staff only consisted of one person. My biggest turn-off was the number of what appeared to be local friends or family of the Inn employees that were at the property. Very friendly but loud and boisterous.

I have been going to solon since I was a teenager, with a cabin in the area so it is the perfect location. The Hotel could be so much more.. it could have a simple small refrigerator in the room to start.. Bedding was new and furniture was new. entering into the lobby could use new flooring, the bar is a great gathering space! The bartender was awesome, she brings an energy that none of the other employees did... shes a great person to have taking care of guests!!
