Outdoor furniture to rise with the sun watch the waves or unwind with the sunset. This home has all the bells and whistles with voice-activated Alexa to turn on and off the lights or listen to music while playing pool or darts. The stunning home has high-speed internet, a pool table, a ping pong table, a telescope, board games, a Blu-ray player, and streaming entertainment (Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, and YouTube TV) perfect for the whole family with lots of memories to create. wonderful time - need to update listing though
We fully enjoyed this stay our stay at this rental. However, - the listing should be updated to say that there are only 3 bedrooms (the other has been converted to a game room), and the hot tub is not working and the management company indicated they have no idea when it will be working. The listing title and details should be changed to be accurate.

Great view
Can't beat the view and location right on the beach. Access to beach from house isn't impossible but not for small kids. House could use some maintenance but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Had a great weekend stay
The good: Place was clean enough. We knew the hot tub was broken so we confirmed the same with the property management who refunded our hot tub fee. Kids (and adults!) loved the garage/game room. Great wifi (we worked from the house one day) Very spacious! The views! THE VIEWS! The deck! Beach access! The less good: We had asked if the fireplaces were working before booking and were told they did. These are the fake flame ones that kick out some heat. I still enjoy them, but the one in the common area was simply missing. The only one that worked was in the master bedroom. The bathroom off the kitchen is shoddy (spalled concrete floor?) The bathroom in the master was dingy. Other reviewers mention the electric. It definitely seems MacGyver'd. Yes, there are some open panels and wires sticking out, but generally out of reach. We had trouble finding the right switch for the right light. It just didn't seem to make much sense. Several extension cords for things like overhead lights plugged in to sockets. Just the oddest electric. Alexa. All the lights seemed disconnected besides the BBQ lights outside; she was less than helpful, except for turning on music. Too many ring cameras outside for my liking (4?) No wood for the solo stove, and no tip to bring some. Overall impression: It's an amazing space and amazing location. As a home, though, it could use a little TLC with the electric and bathrooms. I would rent again though. 4 stars seems about right

The best part of this house was the view and accessibility to the water. We chose this house for the hot tub, the game room and outdoor deck / BBQ area. The hot tub was cold and filthy. It had obviously been sitting that way for some time and the owners / managers did not bother to contact us ahead of our trip about this which was EXTREMELY frustrating and disappointing. The deck was clean and tidy, but the BBQ pit area and entire yard looked like an under-bridge homeless camp. The walls are tagged with writing (passwords), there was (still is - we left them there) a pile of dog poop and disposable marijuana pen tips underneath the fire pit. Had there been kids with us, you guys would be in some trouble. The yard has not been trimmed and mowed for months from the looks of it and there is trash everywhere, such as old appliances, wood and weird little tents scattered around with the owner's belongings in them. The garage (game room) was dirty. No one bothered to sweep up the floor or pick up all the old, tattered kites and dog toys piled up in corners. The refrigerator and other non-working appliances really should be taken out of sight if you are renting this space to paying customers. The master bathroom has serious electrical issues that someone might want to pay attention to. We would not rent this house again due to the condition it was rented to us in. The lack of communication on non-working items that we paid for is unacceptable. We will be waiting for our discount.

Hot tub was out of order but views are amazing
The house is spacious and the view is amazing. The house is run by Alexa, who was less than cooperative. The pictures in the listing of the deck do not match the current outdoor furniture or fire pit. The big disappointment however was the fact that we chose this house specifically for the hot tub. I sent a message on Sept 10th to get confirmation that it was in working order. Did not get a response. I sent another message a little over a week before our date of arrival. About 2 days later I was told it was out of order. We had family flying from out of state for this trip and we were all so excited about having a hot tub. Overall, we still found ways to enjoy our stay. Eating dinner as a family at the dining room table. Sitting around the little fire pit on the deck and watching the sunsets. We also caught a couple of crabs while fishing in the surf. The pool table was a fun addition too. If they get the hot tub up and running, we would definitely consider staying here again!

The deck is to die for BUT...
Our stay was mixed. First of all, the photo of the fire pit and the hot tub is misleading - the hot tub didn't work and was not fixed "due to the holiday weekend." The fire pit is now a solo stove which hasn't been cleaned and maintained so it also was not working properly. The gas grill was very dirty requiring us to buy wood pellets for the wood fire grill. However, that being said, the deck was a lovely place to sit with a beautiful view of the ocean. If you are in fair shape, the climb over rocks down to the beach was do-able and the beach was great. The house was large enough to accommodate 8 adults and the pool table was a hit with my adult children. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. The beds were clean and comfortable with plenty of bathroom space. There had clearly been an attempt to clean the house prior to our arrival but the astroturf dog waste area (at the front door) had not been cleaned up. Be aware that the house needs some TLC, e.g., mold spots on bathroom ceiling, sliding screens that don't slide. This house is clearly a rental property and maintained as such. As for the hot tub, we notified OBV and they sent a staff person who told us it needed extensive work. OBV offered us a $90 refund, less than 2% of the rental fee. As much as I loved the view and location, I believe we did not get what we were promised and I would not rent this house again.

Wonderful time rain or shine
Wonderful views, whale watching and on the normal Oregon rainy days tons of things to do inside. The garage is full of all sorts of games along with a pool table and dart board inside. The whole family had a wonderful time.

Beautiful house for family vacation
We booked South Beach house as a vacation w our adult kids. It was the perfect spot! Amazing view of a mostly empty beach we had to ourselves. Great house with nice amenities you don’t usually find in rentals like a large screen TV, Alexa speakers in many of the rooms and a pool table. Every day we had a great time around that pool table. The kitchen was very nice as well with modern appliances and perfect seating for the whole family. Beach access was better than I expected with only a quick walk down the road to get there with our pup. The only little negatives. The hot tub could use some more maintenance and cleaning, especially with the $84 hot tub fee included. One of the beds sheets still had sand in it. It must be a challenge to clean all those sheets between rentals. Not a big deal as we just washed them. Nothing that would make me not come back though. If you haven’t stayed in the Seal Rock area you need to check it out and this is a great house to do it. Super close to Newport and Waldport but with a nearly empty beach.
