NOISY!

Pros: Location
Cons: Not the cleanest. Front desk clerk at check-in could care less about me.
Neighbors overhead let kids run around in room until 1am and I heard their every step. My room had adjoining room door and heard neighbor like he was next to me. Won't stay here again. Too many other choices in the area.

Great, clean, convenient place to stay.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
We left Chicago late and were trying to get well past traffic issues, so we chose Elkhart as our stop. Candlewood Suites was spotless, the desk clerk was exceedingly pleasant, and the accommodations were first rate.

Homey though plain, spacious, great to have frig, micro in the room

Pros: Free breakfast
Not a fancy place, worn and homey. It was spacious, great to have a kitchen with frig, cooking, micro in the room. Value for a good price.

Hotel News!

The Hotel and Room were clean; although one of the eys on the stove didn't work during our stay. The fitness center provided a nice grouping of equipment to exercise on and was well maintained. The staff was great; helping point out a few local Restaurants that we may enjoy. The only downside I found was with the bed; which had a really hard mattress and wasn't comfortable.

Pet & people friendly

Very clean. Helpful staff. Convenient location - just off I-80/90. Pet friendly up to 80 lb. dogs. Well-designed room with equipped kitchenette. Large safe area to walk pets. Gazebo with grill available if you want to have a cook-out. Quick drive to area attractions. Cracker Barrel & other restaurants along same road. We were able to arrange to keep our dog in the room beyond check-out time for a small fee. Exercise room. Books available to borrow. This hotel would be great for an extended stay.
