Was not informed property was under construction. Pool was too cold to swim. Room was clean however the new bathroom tile grout was all over the tiles didnt not look nice. Workers caused power to go out, stayed hour and a half with my grandchildren until it was dark, no eta of restoration before we checked out. I asked for a refund and have yet to receive my refund.

Breakfast area was dirty/contaminated from construction/renovation. Hotel was not even remotely close to being safe or secure. Pretty sure I interrupted a man attempting to break in to a room on the 2nd floor, a few doors down from our room. Never seen a pool area that is completely open, visually, from the check-in lobby. No hint of privacy as a paying guest. Staff was polite, but indistinguishable from construction crew. Room needs MAJOR renovation and/or deep cleaning. Television options are absolutely pathetic.

The breakfast menu consisted of pizza hot pockets and microwavable White Castle burgers one morning and plain bagels and white bread the next morning. No fresh fruit available from what we saw. They are renovating the hotel so there is understandable clutter when you enter the doors, but the room was just dirty. When we stepped out of the shower onto the floor, we would leave behind dirt footprints, and you could visibly see how the floor was not cleaned or washed recently as there were stains and debris and actual dirt caked onto the floor. The tub had a very old sticker still left on from when it was purchased. A poor attempt was made to scrape it off. One of the towels had a visible brown mark that appeared new, not a stain. A kitchenette was listed as being a part of the room but it was a mini fridge and a mini microwave placed in the dresser of the room. The bed was stiff but the pillows were very comfortable and the bed appeared and felt clean, thankfully. The TV did not work upon our arrival because it could not connect to the internet and the WiFi was unusable because the signal was so poor. All members of the staff that we interacted with were very kind and they were helpful when we needed them to fix our TV and update our door key so we could get access to our room on the 2nd night, but the amenities listed aren’t accurate and it was very unclean. The area is nice and safe but I will not stay here again.

You can tell a man cleaned the room. It was half cleaned. The floors were nasty. For example The white mat you put down in front of the shower in the bathroom was black after you picked it up off the floor. I watched roaches crawl all over the mirror. The floors in the rooms were not safe they were soft like they were about to cave in. There were renovations which fine we understood they were in the waiting/ lounge area mainly. The breakfast wasn’t that great not a lot of items out. The three days we were there nothing was stocked then the receptions tried to tell me that the items were out there when they were not. Waffle machine wasn’t able to be in use supposedly because of the renovations and the dust it caused(this was day three for us) and it was in use the last two days.. but all the other food that was out were covered in the dust and still left out. Definitely could’ve been a better visit especially for the price we paid for the whole weekend. One thing we did like about the place is the fact it had a pool and weight room.

Hotel under renovation. Rooms partially redone but paint splatters on Kleenex box, counters, construction mastic on tile floors. TVs did not work in our room nor our son’s room. Nice linens, good bed, nice towels. Basic, minimalist breakfast, crowded room with everything pushed together to accommodate construction. Not relaxing or inviting.

YOU DON’T WANT TO STAY HERE!!

DON’T STAY HERE! We booked this hotel through Hotels.com (despite the inflated rate due to the home Notre Dame football game), so that we could watch our granddaughter play softball at Notre Dame the next morning. We drove 2.5 hours to arrive early to watch the MSU Spartans’ football game in the anticipated “comfort” of our hotel room. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see that the place was under renovation, which was not mentioned on the website. The area just off of the lobby where the included continental breakfast was to be served was in total disarray with the construction/refurb ongoing. We were assured that it would be in proper condition for the next morning, although we noticed that the toaster sat openly on the counter collecting the airborne particles. We ultimately passed on the breakfast, not being fond of sawdust and drywall dust on our bagels! While our room was clean, the TV did not work. After trying to placate us by changing our room and playing with the TV remotes in both rooms, staff eventually admitted that the TV’s were just recently installed and hadn’t been hooked up to the cable/satellite network yet. We gave up on the hotel TV’s and went to a sports bar to watch our game. The next morning, we discovered that the room didn’t have the hairdryer that was one of the listed amenities. We tried to call the front desk, but the room phone didn’t work either. Management and staff have been unresponsive to our requests for a refund or rate adjustment.

hotel is being renovated which is good but we didn't know about. Staff was great and very friendly. But room needed cleaning after painting and renovation and mattress on bed was very poor I'm thinking it will be better soon.

They are under construction, didn't know that when I booked the room, the room had paint splatters on all the furniture and the chairs the backboard of the bed. The bathroom needs to be cleaned better and they have roaches. I did not end up staying we left before the night was over and there's no manager on site to talk to to get a refund. I had to email someone and I haven't heard anything.

Staff was nice. Breakfast lacked a lot. I was hoping for at least some cream for coffee, not coffee, mate. The waffles were good, but the sausage was rubbery, and the eggs were inedible. Things got stolen out of our car overnight. Including a gift card for $50 to Amazon. The construction in the hotel made it kind of difficult to get around. Our bed was really uncomfortable. I hope that with the rehab you guys are replacing the beds. People were nice. It’s just the facility needs a lot of work.
