First room the bd had been slept in. And the dead bolt was broken. Second room lights had to be plugged in to work. There was not stopper so one could take a bath. Breakfast was a joke. Apple and orange were water. Eggs and sausage were slow in coming. The cereals were empty or almost. Ran out of waffle mix. And the staff seemed not to care. It was our third visit there, but will think twice about a fourth,

The hotel is quiet and in a convenient location. I had stayed there last year and it wasn't bad. This time the coffee pot was not working and I was told there were no spares. There were empty rooms so one could have been moved. I got the feeling that the front desk staff didn't care if a customer came back. I'm not saying they were rude just didn't seem to care.

What I didn't like: We stayed 4 nights. At check-in, no one mentioned that there would be no daily service of any kind for our room, although I was told by the night manager that I should have read the letter posted to the side of the counter which would have informed me of this. It would have been preferable for the staff checking me in to mention this. We had to get from towels from the front desk each day, empty our trash, and make our beds. After the first night, we had to change rooms because the flushing mechanism in the toilet broke. What I did like: the beds were comfortable, and there was a variety of pillows provided which accommodated back, stomach, or side sleepers. The breakfast was good.

The Hotel was located in an area with easy access to both South Bend and Mishawaka. It was quiet inside and outside of the Hotel. The advertisements on line matched the rooms and amenities of the actual location.

I thought it was kinda loud. You could easily hear people coming and goin in halls , laughing , music and other people's showers and heating and cooling machines

I stayed here a few years ago and thought it was a great choice for a ND weekend stay. However, this time it seemed that the property had gone downhill. It just felt like it hadn’t been well maintained and seemed a little shabby. Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the area but definitely not what it used to be.

Property needs refreshing .. flaking paint, brutally scuffed bathtub, filthy carpeting. Amenities scarce & skimpy. Towels thin. Housekeeping almost non-existent. Staff friendly & sympathetic but ... Very good breakfast area, nice lobby. Not inexpensive!
