The staff was absolutely awesome, very kind and accommodating. From the very first moment of entering the room, it was an overwhelming mold, mildew, closed up awful smell. We travel with Lysol so we had spray an excessive amount to try and cover and overcome the existing smells. Once we toke our shoes off various areas in the room the carpet was sticky and felt absolutely disgusting. Especially near the bar area around the fridge and coffee pot. So we didn’t walk around without shoes.

Near several restaurants that are within walking distance. Right by Notre Dame U. The inside hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. I imagine it's freaking hard to watch that, since it is a large property, and I feel like that could be filed under a guest integrity issue (we had no issue smoking outside, as the signs clearly state). Actually, we saw police rounding two times. There's plenty of am coffee options in and outside of the hotel. There's an indoor pool. Shower heads are low, although we're 5'10 and 6'3. They had a microwave and mini fridge, which is hard to find these days. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

My recent rail journey on CA Zephyr encountered inclement weather outside Lincoln Nebraska disabling service East&Westbound due to downed power lines delaying arrival 15+hours. This property forfeited of my prepaid room. This property does not recognize "force majuere" refusing to refund the prepaid amount

Large rooms. Great breakfast! Nice breakfast facility. We had a large group and our rooms were spread throughout the motel. Pool closed too early. Overall this is a nice motel. I would stay here again.

We could not locate this property because the markee said Clover but we had reservations at Wubgate by Windom. The breakfast was totally inadequate- she said they couldn't get oven turned on and the new company was going to install new kitchen equipment. Hardly any fo andnot ready.

As of the date Aug 9 this was a nice facility I was a little disappointed that the restaurant/pub is not open for business. Would’ve been nice to know that before I got there. But because it was an economical price it can be overlooked without any heavy complaining. It’s very obvious at this hotel was owned by someone else at one time and is in the process of being switched over to the new name Wingate.

Check-in went well but when we got to the room it wasn't the type of room I requested. On Expedia I choose a roll-in/walk-in shower because my father-in-law needed it. The room had a tub and no hand rails. I went to the front desk and she and told her the room didn’t match my reservation. She stated that the room information they received from Expedia didn’t match my booking info. She also stated we were the second person to have that issue that day. They did not have any rooms left with the walk-in shower but she was able to find us a room with a tub that had hand rails and a seat in the tub area. It worked but wasn’t the best situation to find ourselves in. Not sure who was at fault but the receptionist was helpful in finding us a room that worked better for us. The hotel also looks like it just transitioned hands and is under renovation as well.

Got in late just needing a place to crash for the night. This was fine. The tub drain wouldn’t stay open no matter how many times I tried. The pipe from the shower head was pulled from the wall. The decor was dark and dated. But it was clean, comfortable. If I were staying for a few days, I’d probably look elsewhere but for a quick overnight it was fine.
